Loved, loved, loved this full day excursion. The staff- and there are a lot of them, are all wonderful- happy/ there to please and all want you to have a great time. We were well taken care of. A marine biologist took us snorkeling when we got there- pointing out some interesting finds as well as the reef shark lol. The buffet lunch was very good/ lots of salad- chicken and fish including beer, wine and pops. I have nothing negative to say about this fabulous memory we created with Captain Cooks island and reef tour. Well I have one negative thing- the Captain is a grumpy person and does not like to interact with the guest. My husband ask him a few boating questions and he just didn’t respond- weird. His rudeness did not impact my day in any way. Would recommend this to all my family and friends.

Trip to small island only an hour away. Crew were awesome and there was entertainment on the way over and back. Snorkeling was great. Lots of colorful fish. It did go out into quite deep water so if you are not a confident swimmer then grab a pool noodle. It's easy to get distracted too by the underwater world so need to keep checking where the guide is so you don't drift too far away. Tried Scuba diving too for an extra cost. Very surreal experience. Dive is with a PADI instructor and when converting the Fiji dollar to AU it was a reasonable price. You can sign up on the trip over. Paddle boarding and kayaking was also included. Lunch on the island was nice and tasty.

We had four adults and five kids and had the best day. Bale (bah-lay) is an amazing host, so thoughtful and caring, made each one of us feel special the entire day. Whether it was the live music serenading us on the boat, sharing a kava ceremony, snorkeling on a beautiful reef, or enjoying a massage on the beach , everything was phenomenal. Even buffet lunch was delicious. Highly recommend !!

Pretty good day activity to do if you want relaxation with a few options for adventure. This activity is on the more affordable side and includes drinks and food. The cruise there and back is quite long and takes roughly 75mins each way which gets boring at times. On the island, the atmosphere is lovely and there are plenty of things to do: paddleboarding, kayaking, snorkelling, beach volleyball. Scuba diving and massages are paid. The toilet facilities at the island are not great so make sure you go beforehand at the marina.

Amazing day, the staff were very helpful and friendly, the beach on the island was relaxing and peaceful, great food and plenty of activities. Only disappointment was we didn’t get to do the glass bottom boat. But overall a fantastic experience. We would definitely do it again.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! We were put a ferry- no tall sailing ship. Very disappointing. They even briefed everyone once on boat saying no snorkeling gear available to which a lot of guests got angry about. Food was also terrible on the island. We insisted on being taken back to denarau marina as it wasn’t the experience we had booked and they refused. They instead had someone bring 15 snorkeling sets for over 100 people. Better off doing cloud 9, seventh heaven or malamala beach club.

We booked the trip at our resort based on the photos and description that offered a full day of adventure with “sailing” to a private island (showing the photos of a sailboat), reef snorkeling, morning and afternoon tea, and tropical lunch, with an optional trip to the Treasure sandbar (and other things(. We paid around 400 USD for two adults and one child. From the hotel we spend over one hour in a bus to the port, only to realize that a hundred of us were crammed into the inner main deck of a catamaran which felt truly like a one-hour ferry to the island. The “tea” consisted of lining up for hot water and a spoonful of instant coffee and cookies. Once there, the hundred people were let onto the beach in 40+ groups to run and try to take one of the plastic chairs or sunbeds. Only 15 people could go snorkeling at a time (so up to most 45 people). Then again one had to line up for lunch (not sure what was tropical about it) with no seats available. We could not wait for 3 o’clock to get out of there. It took 3 hours for the ferry and the bus to get back to our resort. Overall, we tried to make the best of it but it is way overpriced for what you get which is nothing like you’d imagine. It’s a wholesale routine for something you already get in your resort. I do not recommend it.
