Sigiriya The Ancient Rock Fortress
The day will start with a trip to the Sigiriya Lion Rock. Sigiriya is labelled as the Eighth Wonder of The World and is located in the Central Province of Sri Lanka. Sigiriya, labelled as the Eighth Wonder of the World, is the best preserved city centre in Asia from the 1st millennium and the best known monument here is undoubtedly the rock fortress of Sigiriya also known as the Sigiriya Lion Rock.
Dambulla Cave Temple
You will then be taken for a bit cave exploration at the Dambulla Cave Temple Complex. Dambulla is an ancient city with a history of early inhabitants reaching as far back as 7th to 3rd century BC. The place is made famous by the largest and best preserved cave temple complex, which contain statues and paintings, along with having the largest rose quartz mountain in South Asia which dates back to the 1st century BCE.
Oak-Ray Isiwara Ayurvedic Village
On the way, a visit to the Ayurvedic Herbal Spice Garden is a must in order to understand the root of a branch of Science known as Ayurveda. Now let us head on to a very special place called the Independence Squarelocated just a few minutes away from the Old Parliament building. This building was built to commemorate Sri Lanka’s independence from colonial rule and is situated at the same location where a special podium was constructed in 1948 to mark the ceremony of Sri Lanka’s start of self-rule and new parliament.

Super reliable, super punctual, super safe. A big thank you to Deshan. A very pleasant person and very safe driver in the very wild traffic for us. Car typo. And since it is quite a long distance, it was great that Deshan speaks good English and could explain a lot. Can we highly recommend!

He has a lot of humor and drives very carefully in The traffic of Sri Lanka. We Can only give him and hvis company very good recommandings. The Best.

We had a Sri Lanka tour from 18 jan to 24 jan with Sanota walker, organised by Mr chamika mahasinghe. The trip was excellent, all the hotels and meals provided was of great quality. He also provided a great van with a knowledgeable tour guide ( Manju). Best meal was at raja Bojun in Colombo. Highlight of the trip was the lion rocks tours (sirigaya) Sanota walkers was excellent and very flexible with customising the program as required. Pricing was very good value for the quality of the tour. Mr chamika was excellent and checked on us twice to ensure that everything was going well. Guobin Boo

had planned the whole trip for my parents and was looking for a cab operator for local travel in sri lanka for a 7 week long trip! spoke with Mr. Chamika thru whatsapp and somehow knew they were trustworthy! booked the whole plan on whatsapp and they definitely took real good care of my parents! i would suggest you can trust them blindly for all your travel needs in sri lanka! It was our first visit to SriLanka and had taken the service of sanota walker travel co. for our entire trip for a week.We were extremely pleased with their services, they were very precise in their timings, very good vehicles for travel, very responsive to our queries,had good command over English (both Mr Chamika & Mr Udesh) very well versed with the historical and geographical aspect of the country, courteous, quiet reasonable fares, good suggestions for shopping , places of interest & eating places.Would highly recommend their services if visiting Sri Lanka. Would rate them as 9 on a scale from 1 to 10.
