What To Expect
In this two hour workshop, you will learn with our jade carver experts about the ancestral art of designing, cutting and carving your own piece of jade, that you will be able to take with you and show it off as a necklace, bracelet or keychain. It is a unique experience, where you will learn why jade has been so important to our land and our ancestors, and how it relates to life and love. Fun workshop, history around jade missing

4.00I did the workshop at the end of may (low season) and was the only one there. The teacher was very nice and the workshop was something different to the normal touristy stuff. You can choose between different types of jade and make all different shapes and sizes. What I think was missing was a little bit of history around the jade and it's importance to Mayan culture, but maybe he skipped it because I was the only one. Would recommend for a rainy or very hot day

5.00Wow. Didn’t know there were so many different types of Jade. David and Carlos are very patient when working with you, but you also have to have patience. Although you do generally leave with your carved piece of Jade, it is still stonework. As such, it takes time and diligence to work the piece into the shape you desire. Still a blast, would absolutely do it again.

5.00Completely exceeded my expectations! You are able to get hands-on and really be a part of the creation of your piece. The staff was wonderful and it was a lot of fun. Something great to do indoors but will require some patience.
