Hassan II Mosque
Standing proudly over the Atlantic Ocean, the Hassan II Mosque is a breathtaking architectural masterpiece and one of Morocco’s most iconic landmarks. It’s the tallest mosque in Africa, with a minaret soaring 210 meters high. Visitors can admire its intricate mosaics, marble floors, and a glass floor that allows views of the sea beneath. This mosque is one of the few in Morocco open to non-Muslim visitors on guided tours.

5.00I would like to thank the guide, Khalid, and the driver for their patience. The ship took an extra 45 minutes to clear customs. Next all passengers who weren’t going on Celebrity tours were required to take the shuttle to the city center. Because of traffic that took another 30 minutes. We were sure we had missed the tour but there they were waiting for us for over an hour. We were very grateful. My husband has difficulty walking. So he limited the amount of walking to the places that were a “must see”; the Hassan II Mosque, the Corniche Ain Diab, and the Church of Notre Dame of Lourdes. The rest of the time, he made sure we saw the city by car. He was very accommodating.

5.00Youseff our guide took us all around Morocco to see a variety of the most interesting, varied places in Casablanca! This tour was so far beyond expectations. From the Mosque to the olive market to a wood burning bakery it was continually surprising, he treated us like visiting friends who he wanted to share with friends.
