What To Expect

From an easy to find meeting point you will be accompanied to an authentic Flamenco studio. The studio is only a few minutes away on foot but off the beaten path in an old artisan's quarter. During the Introduction to Castanets Workshop, you will learn about the specific characteristics, the history and use of this unique instrument. You will practice some basic techniques. This practical workshop will be accessible and fun for beginners. We will even perform some basic castanet percussion with accompanying music! At the end of the workshop you will be treated to a short demonstration on the use of castanets with dance! The teacher will provide good quality castanets for you to use during the workshop. If you fall in love with them, the purchase of the instrument is not included in the price of the activity!

What a fun workshop! Eva is so professional and a fantastic role model. She gave us, both music and theater professionals, a wonderful challenge. Next to that, Eva is an excellent host and teacher, and we had a great time. Don't hesitate: do it!

If you are looking for something to fill an hour, you have to do this! Eva is wonderful and you pick up so much so quickly. Apart from being a lot of fun, you can pick up the basics quickly and play along to all sorts of music. Also, bizarrely I bet it’s really good if you have any form of adhd!! Do it!

I had an amazing class with Eva! It was a fantastic first introduction to castañuelas (castanets). Eva is patient, kind, and incredibly generous with her teaching. She creates a warm, welcoming environment and can teach in multiple languages, which makes the class even more accessible and comfortable. I enjoyed the class so much that I immediately asked to continue learning with her online—and I’ve been taking lessons ever since! Highly recommend taking this class! :)

She also kindly spent time with us to r Look for a local, traditional, flamenco show. If you’re looking for a fun and experience in a bohemian environment then I would definitely recommend Eva .

If you are looking for fun and energetic activities within your private group in Seville, this is for you! Eva is super friendly and professional. She met us in time and spoke fluent English (we don't speak much Spanish). I would recommend this to everyone and go again!
