A special day exploring the wonderful coastline of Scottish Border country with your personal expert guide. Travel in luxury and style in a V Class Mercedes. Exploring the geology and landscape of the area and a visit to the incredible castle site of Tantallon, a place of power in its day and pivotal in history of the region and Scotland. We then venture on to an artisan distillery for a private gin tasting and meet with the distiller.
Lunchtime stop in the beautiful seaside town of North Berwick for delicious local produce in a restaurant with wonderful sea views. Followed by a chance to explore the great array of independent shops in this quaint seaside town.
To end this fabulous day out a private whisky tasting, a flight of 3 Highland or Speyside Whisky's depending on choice. In a very cosy special setting with option of a grazing board of charcuterie and artisan cheeses.

A fascinating day exploring the wonderful coastline of Scottish Border country with an expert guide. The area is important in the emergence of modern geology. Visits to the dramatic castle site of Tantallon, pivotal in history of the region and tied to many plots and intrigues. Followed by a visit to an multi award winning artisan distillery for a private gin tasting. We then venture on to the pretty seaside town of North Berwick, known as the Biarittz of the north for lunch in a restaurant with sea views next to the quaint harbour. Then time to browse the array of independent shops on the High Street. To end this fabulous day out, a private whisky tasting.

5.00My mum and I did a tour of Roslyn Glen with Celtic compass and it was fantastic. Sarah modified our tour to suit our situation. We were driven to Roslyn Glen where we walked around the grounds of the chapel, seeing ancient chestnut trees, symbols carved in rocks, and caves where bandits hid. Our guide Sarah, told us stories and pointed things out we would never have seen ourselves. After the church tour we had lunch at a distillery. The lunch was magnificent, served in a giant hot house surrounded by herbs. Once again we would never have found this place on our own. Lunch was followed by a botanical tour of the distillery, and a tasting. There were so many highlights of this tour, the history, the beauty of the bush, the gardens of the distillery, but the best part of the tour was it was fun. Sarah is very knowledgeable and passionate about her job. We loved this tour and would recommend Sarah and Celtic compass, can’t wait to do another one.
