Create memories that lasts a lifetime with a day on the Gulf of Mexico sailing to a private island for some swimming and shelling (weather permitting) while taking in the sun and spectacular views. Our beautifully, well appointed catamaran offers comfortable seating both in and out of the sun. Sit back with complementary drinks and listen to nice island tunes and you set sail into the Gulf of Mexico. The Charter is approx. 2.5 hours.
Please note that you will need to swim into shore for the shelling part of the charter. We will drop anchor in approx. 5 ft. of water and approx. 100 ft to the beach. We do provide floaties and life jackets if needed to swim.

With quick access to the Gulf of Mexico,, during your 2.5 hour excursion you will experience true sailing with limited motoring. A stop for a swim to a pristine beach for shelling is part of the your excursion(weather permitting). Keep your cameras ready to capture a photo of the local wildlife to see along the way! Cool Beans Catamaran will accommodate up to 20 passengers. PRICE INCLUDES SODA, WATER, BEER, & WHITE WINE . Please note that parties of 7 or more, an 18% gratuity is added to our base price and is due and payable to the Captain.

4.00Pros- awesome boat and very personable and attentive crew - 2 . We did a 10 am ride and when I questioned starting drinking at that hour, they said it’s always Saturday afternoon once on the boat, lol. So free drinks, nice bathroom, great ride. Con’s- understand that you have to swim to shore to get any shells you may want. You are given a regular plastic store bag to collect the shells in. Bring your own mess bag. You are in 6 feet of water when you start swimming the 50 yards or so to the shore. Not a lot of time on the beach, and it was pretty crowded. We have done different rides that take you to a more private beach with better shell collection.

3.00When we were told a sailing and walk on the beach for 35 minutes for shells we were not told a swim from the boat in windy conditions was going to happen. we assumed it would be close enough if not at shore to get off and walk. Two of us could not make that swim. Another cool beans boat docked on the other side of the island where they walked off. I was not happy that my wife and daughter in law could not experience the beach. Would never do it again or suggest to others. For fun with Family and kids go to Pop Stroke in Ft Myers!

5.00Cool Beans is always an incredible trip! We book two or three times a year with friends and family and it never disappoints! Captain Dan is always charming, engaging, and witty and the mates always provide first class service and witty banter, whether it is Kyle, Toni or Axton. Bathrooms are clean, boat is spacious, and safety and comfort are always the priority. At the sunset toast Captain Dan always jokes “If you can’t have a good time here, I’m sorry, but you’re the problem,” and he is not wrong! There are numerous reasons these guys have almost all five star reviews, and the few negative ones make me think of his line that rings so true. Drinks are cold and plentiful, and the laughs are free, book now! P.S. Don’t take Kyle’s cozies!

5.00I was actually on this same excursion, and my experience was completely different. I’ve done several boat trips in different places and keep coming back to Cool Beans Cruises because of how enjoyable and welcoming they make every trip. Daniel and Toni were both great—friendly, attentive, and clearly doing their best to make sure everyone had a good time. The vibe on the boat was relaxed and fun, with people laughing, talking, and genuinely enjoying themselves. We saw multiple dolphins, not just one, which was such a highlight, and the sandbar stop was a blast. People came back excited, showing off shells and talking about how much fun they had swimming. Not every trip is going to look the exact same depending on conditions, but that’s part of being out on the water. What stood out to me was the overall experience—great energy, beautiful scenery, and a crew that cares. I’ll absolutely continue to support Cool Beans Cruises and will be back again. If you’re looking for a fun, laid-back time on the water, this is it.

5.00This is my second experience, using Cool Beans. The boat is nice and clean and sails well. The captain is humorous, and very efficient. The first mate is very personable and he’s able to walk around the boat as nearly as a mountain goat, serving drink drinks, and cracking jokes throughout the trip. It’s a very nice way to spend a couple of hours.
