37 miles up the Western Highway brings you to the Caves Branch River and its winding path through the Maya Mountains and numerous ancient caves once inhabited by the Maya. Upon arriving at the site you are issued your tubes, headlights and safety gear before hiking through the rainforest to the entrance of the cave system. Once at the entrance of the caves your guides brief you on safety procedure while tubing and then it’s time for your cave tubing adventure through the ancient Maya underworld – Xibalba. Intricate crystalline formations line the cave and the majestic rise and fall of stalagmites and stalactites add to the serene opulence of nature. On several occasion you will emerge into the sunlight only to enter into another cave system.

Ivar our guide was great very knowledgeable and funny. The bbq chicken was good. Zipline pretty cool too, just be prepared to hike up the hill to get to the 2nd line. All in all it was a good day. The cave tubing is awesome and relaxing.

Thank you for a wonderful day of tubing and zip-lining. We all enjoyed the Belize history and culture information on the drive to the river, our guide was excellent. I would recommend this tour group over others, especially the cruise ship's excursion as we had a longer float on the river than those around us, and our guide was such fun! Lunch was great too!

The company was very accommodating, picking us up at our hotel and dropping us off at the ferry terminal for our trip to the island. We were able to bring our luggage along with us. The guide at the caves (Lionel) was great, as well.

The tour itself was pretty enjoyable. However, the floaters and helmets in the images are not what was provided. They provided pretty neat up floaters and helmet with lights that could barely light up anything. Other than that, we had a good time.

All ages can enjoy this excursion. You will walk to the cave and sit in an large tube that is tied with 8 others and pulled by the guide through the cave and down the river for about 1 1/2 hours. Caves have amazing formations. Afterward, there is a good lunch of chicken, rice, beans and drink.

The tour was everything. On our way to the cave the drive gave us a brief history about Belize and pointed out a few places of importance. My friends were also able to upgrade their tour to include zip lining. The small hike to the cave was manageable he sites in the cave is out of this world. God's creation is indeed beautiful. The ride along the river is quite relaxing. I even fell asleep at some points ..My only worry was making it back to the tender in time as we met traffic on our way back. However this tour is highly recommended
