What To Expect
A scenic 100-mile drive through the hills of Belize leads to a visit to Jaguar Paw. Hike for roughly 10-25 minutes to the caves and then get ready for a tube ride that will awaken your sense of adventure! 5.00Great day out with Pablo. I learned so much about Belize, Mayan culture and history. We got to swim, explore the caves on foot and jump off not the water. Lunch was basic but tasty. I’d absolutely recommend the tour and Pablo at Captain Jak’s. Super easy pick up from resort too. Pablo had towels for us and cooled face clothes for when we got back. They thought of everything.

5.00This tour is more than just floating in a tube. It's informative, spectacular, and a beautiful wonder of nature. Chris did a fabulous job of keeping us entertained and took extra care to assist me during parts where we explored without the tubes. Highly recommend!

5.00It was the best! Our guide Pablo Choc was so knowledgeable and joyful, cared for our safety, and pointed out so many interesting sites. Very patient! We had so much fun! We definitely recommend Captain Jak's and Pablo!
A MUST DO adventure. You might’ve toured caves before but not like this.

5.00I went with my mom and sister for the full day tour to see the ruins and go cave tubing. Our guide Pablo was excellent!! We could not have asked for better. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and went out of his way to help my sister with mobility issues. We learned a lot from him as he guided us around. Highly recommend!!!

5.00We did the Xunantunich and cave tubing tour. Pablo was an amazing guide both at the ruins and in the caves. He taught us a ton about Mayan history, Belize history, the history of the people, languages and made the entire day so much fun! The cave tour and diving off a cliff into a pool was the perfect way to finish the day. We cannot say enough about how much we all enjoyed it!

5.00Chris was the best. Able to accommodate the slower members of our group as well as the MUCH more adventurous. He was a wealth of knowledge about local flora and fauna - pointing out wild birds and interesting plants along the way. Cave touring is very popular. And lots of cruise ships send passengers here. Highly recommend: 1) tour groups with small numbers - the more guests the worse your experience 2) leaving early. The earlier you arrive, the less the crowds 3) touring with similarly fit members of your party so nobody is held back or pushed too far. With the right tour size and an early start, this is a very memorable experience!

5.00This excursion was our favorite. Our tour guide, Chris, was so informative with the history there and all the way there. He made our trip very pleasant and felt it was definitely worth the investment. They handled everything and we just had to show up. Our tubes were waiting at the top and Chris guide us safely with fun through the caves and down the river. It was an amazing experience and we would recommend this at the top of the excursions list and with Chris!

5.00Unforgettable excursion!! Family of five (kids 13, 11, and 8) and it was our favorite. We did the all day trip and went to the Xunantunich Ruins and then Cave Tubing. Pablo was our guide and we couldn't have asked for anyone better. We also got the pleasure of knowing him when he picked us up from the airport. We started the day with a long drive from Placencia but Pablo kept it entertaining, informative and would stop for pictures. Ruins were beautiful. After the ruins we had a very tasty lunch at Benny's. The cave tubing starts off with a short hike, but again was an amazing experience in itself. We ate termites, heart of palm and other plants I can't recall. Kids will be talking about that experience the rest of their lives. The tubing was exciting and Pablo again went out of his way to show the kids safe areas to cliff jump and swim in the cave. I can't say enough about this excursion. You won't be disappointed.
