This tour is normally done in combination with any other half day tour (in this case, with Xunantunich Ruins) If you’re visiting with children or non-swimmers please let us know this ahead of time. Hike across the clear blue Caves Branch River. The water is waist-deep, typically. After the river crossing, we start off along a jungle trail heading upstream alongside the river. Your guide will point out interesting aspects of the local flora & fauna as we trek through – perfect time to take out your cameras (preferably water proof). Upon arrival at the designated starting point, your guide will brief you on the proper safety techniques for boarding & floating on your tube. If you’re adventurous, you’ll want to dive or splash into the water from a rock at the starting point. From here, your guide will set you afloat through a series of cavers which periodically open up to the sunshine & jungle. When the water current is strong, you’ll be tied up into a cluster (like a train) with ropes so as to avoid anyone straying away. Your guide will occasionally point out various Maya artifacts within the crevices of the caves.
Includes tour with pick up & drop off at hotels within San Ignacio Town limits including Ka'ana, Windy Hill, & Hills Resorts.

Our family did a combo tour with Pedro! It was wonderful! Started out at Calico Jacks for zip lining and a big swing! Added more zip lines because it was amazing! Headed to cave tubing with Pedro as our guide! He even let us jump off a small cliff into a sink hole in the cave! Fabulous! A must do while in Belize!

Tony was the best tour guide we could have ever hoped for on our Xunan and Cave Tubing tour! He was incredibly knowledgeable, so kind and made sure we had the absolute best experience. Of all of my international tour guides, Tony was the best, so if you want the best excursion, book with Go Maya and ask for Tony, he will make your trip as memorable as he did ours.

We were lucky enough to use Go Maya during our recent stay in San Ignacio. We did 2 tours, and also 2 transfers with Go Maya and each were great. Our tour guide James, who was with us for our cave tubing and zip-lining and also our transfer to Placencia may be one of the most knowledgeable, fun, and best people that my girlfriend and I have ever met. He went out of his way to make us comfortable, and make the tour special for us. James took us to out of the way spots during our tour that no other guide was doing, or seemed to know about, and he really made our trip so much more than it would have been. He was not only our tour guide, but now a friend as well. If you are in the area, use Go Maya, and ask for James, you won't regret it!
