Situated in a lush tropical forest in Northside, Grand Cayman, Cayman Crystal Caves is the Island’s newest nature tourist attraction.
All visitors receive guided walking tours. Tours are approximately 1.5 hours and take you through the surrounding tropical forest area and 3 spectacular caves. You will venture into amazing caves where you’ll see stalactite and stalagmite crystal structures and other worldly formations, formed by single drops of water and the slow passage of time. Tour through the unique tropical forest nature, under which the caves formed.
Amongst the forest and caves is captivating tropical plant and animal life, including strangler balsam trees, air plants, and bats.

5.00Nathan was our guide and was awesome. He knew a lot about the caves and had a lot of good information and facts that he gave using humor which made it fun for everyone. The caves were beautiful and all of our group were very glad that we were able to see them. I would recommend the tour, especially with Nathan, to anyone visiting the island.

From the moment we arrived, the experience felt well-organized and welcoming, with knowledgeable guides who were clearly passionate about the island’s natural history. The tour itself was fascinating. Walking through the lush tropical forest before entering the caves set the tone perfectly. Inside, the caves were absolutely stunning—filled with intricate stalactites and stalagmites that have formed over thousands of years. The lighting was thoughtfully done, highlighting the natural beauty without taking away from the atmosphere. Each cave had its own unique features, and our guide explained the geology and history in a way that was engaging and easy to understand. What really stood out was how immersive the experience felt. It wasn’t just about looking at rock formations—it was about learning how they formed, hearing local stories, and appreciating a side of Cayman that you don’t usually see at the beaches. The pace of the tour was comfortable, with plenty of time to take photos and ask questions. 5.00Our tour guide was knowledgeable and hilarious as he showed us around the three caves open for public excursions. He pointed out local plants and animals as well as incredible rock formations inside the caves! The price was reasonable considering it was so much fun and highly informative!! The caves are warm inside so make sure to bring water and stay hydrated, even with us being very sweaty the pictures and memories from this will forever be with my family! We had 4 people with us and the total group size was very reasonable, basically a large vans worth. Thank you to the team from the crystal caves, everyone was absolutely awesome!! Thank you so much for having us!!! - Cierra and Fam (I didn’t want to spell his name incorrectly but our tour guide was *incredible* I don’t normally include pictures of people, but I did in this case, so if he wants it removed let me know, but I wanted to highlight how much credit he should get for our experience being one of a kind!!)

1.00Caves 5, tour company 1. Highly recommend the caves, but avoid this company. They “lost“ our reservation and we had to get help from the hotel concierge for them to pick us up at a later time. We waited all morning, which was lost, because of poor communication on behalf of the tour company. They intermittently responded to texts before the tour to clarify pickup time and location (I had to initiate). No one responds when you try the “emergency number” listed on the profile. What makes it even better is that when the hotel concierge saw what we had paid for the reservation, she remarked, “wow, that’s really expensive!“ You are assigned a tour guide that is provided by the caves whether or not you book through a company like this. That’s independent of this company. Basically what you’re paying for is extremely expensive non-refundable transportation that may or may not come when you book it. AVOID THIS BOOKING!

5.00Absolutely loved Crystal Caves! We were in the Caymans for family vacation. The grounds are well kept, they have food and drinks! You can take drinks on your walk through the caves (no food, it is bad for the wildlife). Our guide was Syd - he was amazing! Funny, very knowledgeable and entertaining! He patiently answered everyone’s questions. He kept everyone safe walking through the caves, he let us know when to duck 😁. He patiently answered everyone’s questions. Syd gave us tons of great information as we did the tour. If you get the chance I highly recommend this tour! Be sure to ask for Syd! You will not be disappointed! Thank you Syd - Cheers! - Wayne, Kelly and Mr. Bermuda!
