What To Expect
Cayman Spirits Co. Distillery
This tour ticket grants you access to the Cayman Spirits Distillery, the Cayman Islands #1 rated attraction. It does not include transportation or pick up. Simply present this ticket on arrival for your stated tour time for entry. The distillery tour includes a guided walk through of a functioning distillery and an informative talk about the process of making rum, from fermentation, distillation, aging and bottling. On any given day different parts of the process may be observable as this is a working distillery. In addition, the pass includes a full tasting of spirits produced on site, including Seven Fathoms Rum, the national rum of the Cayman Islands and the official rum of Cayman Airways. There are also coconut, banana, spiced, dark and more varieties to try in the Governor's Reserve line of spirits. Distillers specials include limited availability seasonal releases, like the scotch bonnet rum, local botanical gins and more. A wide selection of locally produced items are available for sale in the distillery gift shop, including locally made pepper jelly's and jams, rum cakes, hot sauces, t shirts and hats and the distilleries famous rum infused BBQ sauce. Please note this tour does not include transport, present ticket at distillery for entry.

What delicious rum & a FUN experience!

5.00We really enjoyed a tour that was full of fascinating history/distilling/processing info wrapped in a lighthearted delivery that filled the place w/ laughter! Tasting samples were generous & only ones wish I’d tried was the PB spirits & scotch bonnet rum (not in season ig). Length of this tour wasn’t even close to 45 min so go by the time range of up to 90’. Glad we didn’t have anything scheduled right after. The knowledgeable @ witty guide himself (believe was from Croatia?), w/ a long brown beard, was a character! Think of the venue more like an informative comedy show w/ some content that is wonderfully inappropriate in places & not for everyone- esp the sensitive types! 🤣 DO recommend this tour & happy we did it. The short stroll around distillery was interesting. Tasting room itself is great w/ lots of products to purchase (listed in Cayman dollars so if using US- multiply all by 1.25). We bought: 7 Fathoms & Governors Reserve dark rum- (both are amazing!), 7 Fathoms cocktail glass & the scotch bonnet honey- which is awesome. (Although does have partial plastic seal over cork top, leaked on trip home so recommend seal it well w/ extra tape & in plastic). As you can imagine w/ all that glass, needed pay for extra weight on our flight but worth it! Even wish now we’d gotten the coconut Gov Reserve! Also, on the wine skin wrap, says US delivery available @ shop.caymanspirits.com but hasn’t been over last 3 weeks. Idk the status of this option. We’ve already enjoyed several delightful rum cocktails while sipping sweet dark rum on the rocks! Thanks again for the experience Cayman Spirits Co Distillery. Cheers!

4.00Cool spot. We arrived while there was a tour there and the tasting room was full. We had to wait about 20 minutes to do a Rum tasting. Enjoyed the rums, we had 6 shots for $20 (tour is $20 each if interested and timing works). The bartender was helpful and friendly. We purchased two bottles and a t-shirt. check it out.
