SAVE YOUR MONEY! Very expensive and randomly assigned a host. I read other reviews so my friend and I were very excited. This was the first and likely the last event like this I'll ever do. For $125 pp, which is an expensive dinner, the event was less than mediocre. We made one kind of pasta not two as pasta and sauces are different (Booking companies involved believe this means they met their obligation) but one of the sauces was purchased and the other was from home canning, not fresh. I did get a few tips about how to make pasta but the experience wasn't remotely worth the price. Mass produced, grocery store bread served in Italy where most bread is delicious. No appetizer though we got local cheese and cured meats with the meal after 2.5 hours. Offered tea (in Italy on vacation for dinner?), so we had to ask for wine which came from family vineyard (points for cool and charming). Chaotic house with people coming and going and greeted by barking dogs, wailing newborn and cat in the kitchen. Made enough food for family and leftovers. Made two batches of dessert and we were served the botched one. We felt bad for the hostess but she should have canceled so we would have saved $250. If it were less money I wouldn't be as upset. Worst of all TripAdvisor, Viator and Cesarine declined any kind of refund as they think they fulfilled the requirements. I respectfully strongly disagree. I expected them to vet the house and the experience and clearly they didn't and do not care. Likely the poor hostess gets very little after these travel event groups take their cut. Very disgusted. Typically I'm more forgiving but again $250 USD and don't want anyone else to go through this. I've used TripAdvisor and Viator previously but this has soured me on these companies.

We had such a great time ! We were welcomed into there home and learned how to make homemade pasta and tiramisu. But our host made a homemade soup and shared some other items that her family makes that made us so welcome like we were friends for years. Great event strongly recommend it. Tony & Maria USA / Ohio

Thanks to Alessia for this wonderful experience. His warm welcome allowed us to learn how to make real Italian pasta and tiramisu. This homestay cooking experience and sharing a meal with family was truly wonderful. I highly recommend it; she is an exceptional woman who has a lot to tell and teach, in addition to offering an excellent tasting of her locally produced wine.

Alessia and her family are an absolute delight! This experience was of the highlights of our trip to Italy and honestly any travel. We learned how to make a yummy tagliatelle and ravioli and tiramisu, while learning about the local culture and traditions. Alessia, Karen and Andrea were such wonderful hosts who made us feel like family. They sent us home with tons of leftovers for the rest of our party. Still smiling days later. Thank you all for an unforgettable evening.

An absolute amazing time! Thank you for opening you house to us and showing us real authentic Italian food. Alessia not only showed us how to make great food. But she went that step further and made sure we got home okay ( we ridden bikes to her house and we left when it got dark) A truly kind soul x

What can I say? I came to Aosta for my 30th birthday, as a surprise. Part of the celebrations were to make pasta at an authentic Aostian residence and I wasn't disappointed. Alessia, is a maternal, cultured and brilliant host. She has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to cooking, isn't afraid to let her guests get involved and even makes her own alcohol (spirits and wine). We had tagliatelle and ravioli to which we then had tirimasu for desert. Where ever was left over, she let us keep and she even provided us with a ride to our where our bikes were stationed! You made our trip to Aosta that much more special, Grazie Alessia!
