Our tours to Český Krumlov typically look like this. You will be picked up in Prague at your address that should be in a city centre. The drive in a van for max. 8 people usually takes 2 hours as CK is 175 km away from Prague. You can relax and enjoy views of our countryside on the way.
We will park at the main car park and Filip, the guide, takes charge of the tour then. We will climb a short hill to the castle. You will be taken through all castle courtyards, you will learn many interesting stories and you will be shown best places for pictures. We will leave the castle going down to a river, crossing a bridge, where we can have a lunch in a medieval restaurant.
After the lunch you will be given a free time to explore the Old Town. You can even leave before lunch to have it anywhere you wish. It is your free time. I will give you recommendations about what to see and about shopping places if you want. We will meet again at the car park in the end and we will go back to Prague.

Our guide was basically average. He highlighted many items of interest but most of the excursion was on our own. I still recommend the tour as the town is very interesting to explore.

It is a long drive from Prague, but the van was comfortable. We were accompanied by a driver/guide. The day would have been more interesting if brief descriptions/identification of things as we drove by, even some basic city/country informatino would have added to the tour. However, could not hear anything the guide said while driving, a mic plugged into the vehicle's sound system would be extremely helpful. If this were available, information and history of the site given while still in the vehicle would have been more comfortable than standing in the cold. Another helfpul aid would have been a site map identifying our starting point, route, ending point, and final meeting point. The tour itself was an appropriate length and the free time was also adequate. Possibly providing a list of addtional sites to see during the free time would also be helpful. There are a lot of things that could be visited, but not so easy to keep track and find.

I highly recommend this tour. Český Krumlov is not to be missed. It is like stepping into the past and seeing a glimpse into medieval times. Our guide was informative and helpful and gave us plenty of time to explore. His lunch recommendation was the BEST. I'd go back just to have that lunch again. Very nice ride to and from Prague with a bit of countryside if you want a break from the city.

Trip was great, Hozan tells concise and detailed history of the place. Timing is efficient and enough to finish visiting the whole town.

Lovely day out of Prague. The weather was wonderful and the town very atmospheric. Unfortunately the streets are lined with souvenir shops and restaurants.

It was a great experience with good care and service. The attention and explanation provided by Ondrej was very good. As an opportunity for improvement with 30 or 40 minutes more you could enjoy the city more.

We travelled from Prague and returned to it by bus. The visit did not disappoint and I think it convenient to suggest this beautiful town on visits to Prague. The city is sheltered under a towering European center-style castle that controls the surrounding area. Although we could not enjoy it, it has the castle a beautiful baroque theater barely altered and a huge tower from which to see the surroundings. The streets of the city develop between the castle headland and the meanders of the river that runs through it. Wherever you look, the city is beautiful and suitable for street enjoyment and to stop to taste a good beer. At night, the lights pluck the magic to a place worth visiting

Ondrej was a brilliant Tour Guide - he got the balance between giving all the history without being too overwhelming to the point that you switched off - he managed to hold attention very well. It was a very small group and he managed to successfully integrate many nationalities together. As to the tour - Cesky Krumlov is incredibly picturesque and absolutely worth a day trip from Prague to see more of Czechia. Highly recommend this trip
