Discover Český Krumlov the relaxed way — without the rushing typical of most day tours.
Travel in a small group and enjoy a full-day journey combining one of Europe’s most beautiful medieval towns with an authentic Bohemian village.
After hotel pickup in Prague, we head to Český Krumlov. With your guide, you’ll explore both iconic highlights and quieter corners most visitors never find. The stroll usually includes visits to local artisans such as a jeweller, blacksmith, or leather craftsman. On warm days, we may taste local craft beer too.
We make a special stop in Holašovice, a tiny UNESCO-listed village, where we talk about Czech village life, traditions, and folklore. On most visits, we are welcomed by a local resident whose family has lived here for over 500 years, sharing everyday objects and personal stories of rural life.
We return to Prague in the early evening.

Cesky Krumlov Castle
We begin at the top — literally. After arriving early (before the big crowds), we’ll park above the town and start a guided walk through the castle complex (exteriors), taking in sweeping views over the rooftops and the Vltava River bens as we descend gently along a cobbled path. From there, we’ll explore what were once three separate historic towns — Latrán, the Old Town, and the Jewish Quarter. Each has its own unique vibe, and we take the time to enjoy it all. This isn’t a checklist march — we move at a relaxed, easy-going pace, stopping for photos, stories, and local insights. Along the way, we’ll discover hidden gems most tours skip — from tucked-away viewpoints to charming artisan shops and quiet corners that feel miles away from the main square. Physical demand: Easy (well-maintained paths, walking down) 2-2.5 hours ● Guided walk
Cesky Krumlov
After the guided walk, you’ll have plenty of free time to enjoy Český Krumlov at your own pace. Whether you feel like sipping coffee by the river, wandering through hidden lanes, browsing local craft shops, taking photos, or simply soaking in the atmosphere, the time is yours. Your guide will happily recommend museums, viewpoints, cafés, scenic walks, or quiet spots based on your interests — without a fixed program or rushing from place to place. You’re free to explore what draws you most in the moment. Please note that access to castle interiors varies by season. The Castle Tower is open year-round (except Mondays), while other interiors are available only on guided tours. If you’re interested, your guide will be happy to advise on the best available options on the day. When it’s time to continue, we’ll meet at a convenient, pre-agreed spot near the center, so you won’t need to walk uphill again. Just relax — we’ll come pick you up by car. Czeck Out Tour is the best. Ondrej is super friendly and made our tour super easy for our 87 yr old relative with slow mobility. Ondrej made it possible for her to see beautiful places with minimal and manageable walk. We were all happy with the whole day trip from Prague to Cesky Krumlov and able to see Holasovice & Hluboka castle in addition to Cesky Krumlov. We highly recommend Czech Out Tours.

Small group day tour is the way to go so you get the pickup and drop off at your hotel plus the attention you get in and out of your tour vehicle. Our tour guide/cofounder of his small travel company is energetic and amazing from coordinating the appropriate classical music as we're driving down a country road with trees overlapping each other to him asking the elderly man at Holasovice if we can feed his horse and pet him to engaging stories he tells us as we tour Cesky Krumlov to a delicious lunch at a quaint restaurant. The lunch comprises a homemade beverage, cabbage/beef soup and french toast or avocado toast or salad. This lunch is not heavy at all as I would expect from Czech cuisine. Just a perfect lunch! In this tour, he gives you enough time to roam and discover the charming city on your own in addition to the walking talking tour of Cesky Krumlov. He knows the secret spots in the city for beautiful photos, and he can take photos of you, so you don't have to do selfies all the time. On the drive back, he tells you how far in minutes before you arrive to your hotel, 30 min and 15 min mark so you don't have to ask him - are we there yet?! Bonus, he can sing if you want to hear him sing, he's a good singer :) and plays music requests from you. Perhaps you can do car karaoke with him!

The service from pick up at our hotel through a fabulous tour, wonderful lunch service and final drop off was impeccable. Communication was clear at all steps. The tour information was clear and spaced appropriately to allow digestion. The day’s events were organized in an order that ensured a smooth flow and feedback on additional stops was sought to assure complete satisfaction. We absolutely loved the tour and our guide! We will be a return customer and highly recommend this tour company to any of our friends or family.

We had an absolutely wonderful day trip out of Prague and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, everything was thoughtfully planned and ran smoothly, making the entire day feel relaxed and enjoyable. Our guide, Ondřej, really made the trip special. He was personable, attentive, and incredibly informative, sharing interesting insights. He struck the perfect balance between guiding and giving us space to explore. The itinerary itself was well-paced and pleasant, with plenty of time at each stop. Lunch was a highlight—delicious and well-chosen—and the comfortable minivan made getting between locations easy and stress-free. The small group also created a friendly, welcoming atmosphere that made the day even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore beyond Prague in a comfortable and engaging way! Thank you, Ondřej!

This is one of the best tour experiences we have had and one of the most beautiful places we have ever visited. It’s certainly worth the travel on the road from Prague and back. Jana, our tour guide/driver, was amazing. We are grateful to her for her knowledge, friendly disposition, flexibility and professionalism!

This trip has beautiful scenery. The ride in the van was very pleasant. I would have preferred to meet with the farmer after Cesky Kumlov.

The value of a tour rests both on the unique location and the skill of the tour guide. Cesky Krumlov is well known to be a beautiful and interesting location, also featuring great shops and dining. But what made this tour exceptional was Andrew, our guide. We were picked up at our hotel in a new, comfortable and perfectly clean car. Andrew was cheerful and welcoming and clearly explained the tour plan for the day. When we arrived and the tour began, Andrew was well versed and clearly explained the history, culture and architecture of the site. He arranged for a wonderful and reasonably priced lunch and then provided sufficient time for us to explore the town on our own. Overall a great experience.

Great trip to Cesky Krumlov with Andrew (Ondrej). He was so attentive to the group wants, making sure we were all comfortable throughout the day. We loved the city and the additional stop at the small UNESCO village. I was worried we wouldn't have enough time in Krumlov but I didn't need to worry. We toured with Andrew for about 1.5-2 hours and then had 2 hours or so on our own to explore. I was impressed with all the historical knowledge and fun stories he shared as we walked the old cobblestone streets. Don't hesitate to book this one!
