Your tour guide will take you through the most historical parts of Cetinje where you will visit its most important monuments, beautiful parks and charming promenades. You will see the famous Blue Palace, built in the 19 century for Prince Danilo. Walking through this small historical town, you will see many old embassies, which today have found a different purpose and are still in use. You will get to see the ruins of old Cetinje Monastery from the 15th Century and the 19th Century Cipuri church before we come to the Monastery of Cetinje, which was rebuilt at the beginning of the 18th Century and even today it is the centre of our Orthodox church. This tour will allow you to see the beauty of the new castle also known as Biljarda, the Palace of our ruler and poet Njegoš. Our tour guide will then show you the monument dedicated to Ivan Crnojevic, the founder of Cetinje before we finish the tour in front of the Palace of King Nikola, as he was the last leader of Petrović dynasty.

5.00Filip was our guide for a 1-hour walking tour of the city of Cetinje. I can only say that without his guidance we would have missed 90% of the interesting bits. The tour was entertaining and full of of historic information. It gave us a good picture of the history of Montenegro (which we knew nothing about). I highly recommend to take this tour. On top, you get the good tips on where to eat authentic local food and what other places are worth to visit on the country. We enjoyed it a lot, thanks Filip!
