Javier and his team were spectacular! It is a challenging hike, and the rafting was the perfect complement for the day. The scenery was awe inspiring, and the power canoe ride at the end gave the experience a very authentic flair. I would highly recommend this tour for families, team building or a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

The tour starts early in the morning, so it is advisable to have light breakfast and carry energy bars. The sunrise on the mountain is simply spectacular. The guide always gives you a review of where you are and it is always information that is not easily found in books. Before starting the hike you are given a breakfast to endure the 2hrs hike, in gentle rhythm, you pass rivers, a beautiful jungle, time and listen to typical animals of a rainforest. When you least expect it you arrive at the majestic Chagres! And everything you came for, start!!!! Rafting through the chagres, is a pretty safe adventure ride, and full of adrenaline. My experience was one of the most unforgettable I have ever had. I challenged my Fears and enjoyed every moment. After 5 hours along the Chagres River we were searched in some cayucos (wooden boats, typical of the region) where everything was more spectacular. And unfortunately the adventure ride ended. A wonder to be able to live such an experience, unmatched by the fact of sailing along the majestic Chagres River that feeds the iconic Panama Canal. It’s one of the things every adventurer should have on their “Things to Do” list, but it should only be done with people trained for this; as in this case it was Adventures Panama.

What a great day! Orlando, David and Pablo picked us up on time and guided us through a great adventure! The kayaks are in great shape, the guides speak excellent English, and are extremely knowledgeable about local wildlife and culture. They packed a tasty lunch for us and made us feel comfortable and safe for the entire trip. Do this!

We loved the trip, the guide and our driver. We learned a lot from both of them. The trip begins near Gantu locks and the Chagres River. Navigating in direction to the Caribbean Sea, we found monkeys, toucans, peace and beautiful forest. Arriving to the Caribbean Sea, we enjoyed the views from Fort of San Lorenzo, had some fruits in the company of animals and natives. Beautiful trip, but I think it is a little expensive.
