This magical tour of Mont Blanc and Chamonix was truly unforgettable. Even though the train ride and ice tours were temporarily unavailable, our guide, Niels, went above and beyond to make our experience very special. He was incredibly friendly, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable about the region's history, culture, and sports. Chamonix is a charming town that is surrounded by natural beauty and filled with a number of places to either grab a quick bite (we thoroughly enjoyed the pastries and service at the cafe Marie Blanchere) or to sit down and enjoy a full meal at a restaurant. The views going up the mountain in a cable car were surreal. Photographs cannot adequately capture the sheer majesty of the Alps, and it was definitely a once in a lifetime experience to be able to take in the beauty of Mont Blanc up close. I cannot recommend this tour enough, and if you are lucky enough to get Niels as your guide you will be in excellent hands!

I went to Switzerland to launch my book: DES BEING / UNBEING and I enjoy doing this tour. It was a unique experience. I loved every moment. At the top of the mountain was 13 degrees. I still got the snow. It was amazing. The glaciers. It's all beautiful. The train ride. It's very worth it.

A very well-organized trip, the guide Nils was extraordinary. The bus ride was very comfortable, Chamonix is beautiful, and seeing all the Alps and Mont Blanc up close was a dream. The experience was a 10.

We ranked our tour guide, Niels, in the top three of all of our tour guides from all of our travels all over the world. He was outstanding in his knowledge of the area, knowledge of the history of the country, and explained all the activities that were seeing. He emailed us a few days before our scheduled tour day to say that they weather would not be good and asked if we could move it out one day. Fortunately, we could and the weather the next day was amazing. The views were the best. Niels even pointed me to his favorite bakery where I got the best almond croissant that I've ever eaten.
