If you are looking for the absolute highlight of your time in Te Anau, look no further. This Champagne tour was everything I hoped for and more—a perfect blend of luxury, history, and natural beauty. The first thing that strikes you is the incredible history of the boat. It’s not just a transport vessel; it’s a beautifully maintained piece of maritime heritage. Our captain, Adam, is clearly the heart and soul of the operation. His passion for the ship is infectious, and his deep knowledge of its history added a layer of storytelling that you just don't get on standard commercial tours. It’s rare to meet someone who so clearly loves what they do. Even though the weather wasn't exactly "picture-perfect," it didn't dampen the mood for a second. We spent much of the tour out on the deck, soaking in the dramatic scenery of the lake. I was so impressed that the crew still provided plush seat cushions, ensuring we were cozy and comfortable while we sailed. The catering was the cherry on top. The hors d'oeuvres were sophisticated, fresh, and delicious. And of course, the bottomless champagne kept the spirits high! It felt incredibly indulgent to glide across the water with a glass that was never empty. This is a world-class experience that feels intimate and authentic. I would repeat this tour in a heartbeat and cannot recommend Adam and his beautiful ship Faith highly enough.

Was a Brillant cruise on the Scottish built sailboat faith with Megan and Adam. The boat is their love child and the history behind Faith is very interesting. The actual sailing around Lake Te Anau was nice and relaxing with some great nibbles and a nice red and champagne provided. If in Te Auau would highly recommend the cruise.

We enjoyed a lovely relaxed cruise with Adam and Sophie, complimentary drinks and canapés. There were only three clients on the cruise so it was great chatting with Adam about the yacht and its history. A shame that the wind didn't blow for the sailing but you can't schedule the weather. Our second time on board as we were onboard in 2020 and if we ever come back again we would be happy to do it again.

This was absolutely fantastic. Adam and Meg run such a novel experience on their 90 (!!) year old sailing yacht. If you are one for boats and history like I am, this tour is absolutely perfect. We did the evening tour with multiple rounds of champagne as well as some small yet delicious bites as Captain Adam told us about the history of the boat. The views from the lake are stunning of course but the main attraction is the beautiful ship. Overall, it was a very unique and lovely evening!

Where to start but the lovely greeting on the wharf, very inviting from the get go. We had the privilege of being the only people on board, which was an honour and made it a very personal and endearing experience on the boat & time with the crew. Cruise itself was full of charm & history with gentle chug of the engine then the quiet glide across the lake under sail….magical… The food, drinks and service was delightful making us feel like we were someone of class from a page of the boat’s history in years gone by. Above all the passion and the approachable nature of the crew made the whole experience something we will do again no doubt, but a long journey next time I’m sure ….as this was the best thing we did in Te Anau by a long shot.

We were fortunate to be the only couple on the cruise so it felt like a private charter. Adam was a warm and knowledgeable skipper ably assisted by the delightful Sophie. The experience was friendly, informal and informative. Faith herself is a beautiful vessel and obviously very much treasured. Would thoroughly recommend this unique experience.
