Led by a historian and designed by a former Guardsman, this walking tour is the best way to see the Changing of the Guard ceremony. You’ll get historical context, insider knowledge and great vantage points. You’ll also walk alongside the New and Old Guards as they march along The Mall. If you are wondering, it is as exciting as it sounds.
You’ll see Buckingham Palace, of course, but you’ll also visit St James’s Palace and Clarence House, and understand how these royal residences fit into this world-famous ceremony. If we’re lucky (it sometimes happens), you might even catch a glimpse of the King and Queen.

Not only did Robin have fascinating facts, he showed us places that even as a local, I was not aware of. More than just a guide to the Changing of the Guard. Shall now investigate more of his walks. 5.00We had SO much fun with Robin! We were part of a small group (7 people) and the crowds were small, but Robin knew exactly where to go so we got the best views. We were so close at one point that I could have touched a guard! Robin knew so much about everything we saw. He even gave us advice about what to see after our tour and good places to eat. I highly recommend Robin!!

5.00Robin is incredibly knowledgeable and so generous with his time. Our group received nearly an extra hour of the perfect sights during the experience. Robin had so much information to share and plenty of jokes too. We had the best time and it was an amazing value for the money to do this tour! I would recommend Robin to anyone going to London as the perfect person to give you an A+ tour.
