4.00Enjoyed hiking up to the top see the fantastic view, feel the heat coming out from the ground. Laguna de Apoyo was beautiful, one could just sit and look at it for the whole day! Being a Sunday, it was quite crowded with locals going for a zipline ride or horse ride. The local pottery factory was interesting and the full process from collecting the clay to the finished product was explained in detail. The El Sopas Restaurant's Beef/Oxtail soup was very tasty and filling👍. The final programme was a lake cruise in Lake Nicaragua to see some of the islands and monkeys which was a nice relaxing way to end the dat trip. Our English speaking guide, Victor was eager to spill out all the information about each place as we proceeded, he was knowledgeable and gave us alot of information.
