Upon arriving at our venue, you will be welcomed by a true charro from Jalisco, who will guide you through the tour we call "Entre Charros" (Among Charros).
You will explore our site museum, considered the Cathedral of Charrería, while learning about the history and evolution of man on horseback in Mexico and the world.
We will visit the stables where we will learn about the Quarter Horse, their care and attention, as well as the tools we use to work with them and the livestock.
We will learn about the use of the lasso and how to lasso to initiate ourselves into the world of charros.
Finally, the time comes to ride a horse with a charro hat, for which we will give you some basic instructions on how to communicate with the horse in a practical way.
The best part is the end because we will celebrate and toast with a delicious tequila while enjoying the music of the mariachi and the songs of the charrería.

Amazing experience! Was one of the highlights of our stay in GDL. A great opportunity to learn about the cultural significance and impact of Charreria in its birthplace. Great value for money. Educational and hands-on… worth it! Jorge was amazing!

Our visit to this family-run ranch was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, we could feel the warmth and pride that generations have poured into this place. Our guide, Jorge, went above and beyond—patiently answering all our questions, making sure everyone in our family was comfortable, and helping us truly enjoy every moment. We learned about the rich history of the ranch and its skilled riders, practiced roping and lassoing, rode beautiful horses, and even got a taste of authentic tequila. The highlight was the personal touch—a private, intimate moment with guitar music and singing that made the day magical. This tour offered fun, culture, and genuine hospitality all wrapped into one unforgettable day. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic and heartwarming ranch experience!

I’ve been interested in learning more about who the Charro is for the past few years and this is the first time I’ve been to anything that answers that and I’d say it was such an interesting experience that I wish I could re-live for the first time again. He covers unique figures in their history, how the sport came to be, let us wrangle a bull and more. I’m very happy this is something I did on my first trip to Guadalajara.
