Chase the dancing Northern Lights and explore every corner of Nuuk city on this 2-hour PRIVATE tour by car! You can join alone or come with a maximum of 4 people!
We will drive you to the darkest places in the city for panoramic views of one of the highlights of the Arctic winter. During the tour, your local guide will tell you a little about Nuuk and the Northern Lights, and is always happy to answer your questions about Greenland.
It is likely to be chilly. It is the Arctic winter after all! Our car is heated and you can always retreat inside if you get too cold, but make sure you bring heavy outer layers, a woolen hat, scarf, and gloves/mittens so you can stay outside as much as possible. We will also warm you up with a hot chocolate during the tour.
Remember Northern lights are unpredictable and may not appear during the tour. If you are unlucky and don't get to see them on the tour, we will rebook you on another night for FREE!

5.00Great set up with the boat, the crew was lovely, and the experience was wonderful. I really enjoyed speaking with the local guides and discussing various perspectives and cultural information. One of the best parts of traveling is getting to know the people of the area in which you are visiting and this experience allowed for time to do that. The different spots they took us to in the northern bay were really fantastic and hot beverages were definitely appreciated. And of course, the northern lights were SO beautiful!

5.00We are recommending the activity from the bottom of the heart. The small, private group was extremely convenient. I was travelling alone with my son accompanied by another two tourists. The guide was very forthcoming, patient, he didn’t only do the hunting but also was telling us more about the areas, style of living and some fun facts. The trip is planned for two hours and even if the time was up, but the northern lights were still there, he kept chasing and picking a most suitable place for us to admire the wonder. There was even a tasty hot chocolate in a nice ceramic cup. I fully recommend the experience. My 11yo son also loved it giving it 10/10.

5.00A super great night. Punctual pickup, with preheated 4x4 Heep. Friendly driver who told us a lot about Nuuk, culture and people. The best places started and left time for photos. Very relaxed and we were super lucky and had seen dancing northern lights for 2 hours in each place. A highlight were the pictures the driver took of us, with the lamp trick!

5.00We had a great tour with our guide Mess. Our challenge was that it was at 10pm still to much light. After driving around till 11pm Mess found a good location and we saw powerful Northern Lights.

5.00It was a great experience. I was picked up from the hotel and given a very warm welcome. The guide Inesa showed her enthusiasm for the Northern Lights and during the car rides she told us about the wonderful Greenland and the conditions and was interested in my input. We experienced the Northern Lights together. Full of happiness, with the Northern Lights and a huge shooting star in my backpack, she brought me back to the hotel. It was a wonderful experience... full of happiness, fun and a cool breeze. Thank you so much for everything! I'd be happy to do it again any time!

5.00Mads was awesome as a guide, we unfortunately missed the lights on our first outing but Mads was determined to make sure we didn’t miss them completely. He chatted to us each day about the likelihood of the lights for that night and when our chances were high he came straight to our hotel to pick us up and get us a viewing. I would definitely recommend this tour!
