Our Chiang Mai Famous Waterfall Tour will take you to the most beautiful waterfalls in Chiang Mai all in one day. If you are looking for some fun in the sun, delicious food and a ton of great photos, then this is the tour for you!

The morning will start with a private pickup directly from your hotel by one of our friendly, english speaking guides. From there your tour will begin as you start your drive in one of our comfortable, spacious and air-conditioned vehicles.

This full-day tour will be fully packed with famous landmarks, incredible scenery, secretly located spots and much much more!

8:00 AM - Pick up from hotel

9:00 AM - Arrive at Doi Suthep

10:00 AM - Receive a holy blessing and participate in a wrist tying ceremony at the temple

12:30 PM - Arrive at Bua Tong Waterfalls

1:30 PM - Lunch!

2:00 PM - Free time to swim and take pictures at waterfalls

3:00 PM - Return back to your hotel

4:00 PM - Arrive back at your hotel

It is a sacred site to many Thai people. The temple is 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) from the city of Chiang Mai and situated at an elevation of 1,073 meters. From the temple, impressive views of downtown Chiang Mai can be seen.

We recently went on the Chiang Mai Sticky Waterfalls & Doi Suthep Temple tour, and it was an amazing experience, especially thanks to our fantastic guide, Nong. From start to finish, Nong was engaging and incredibly knowledgeable. He made us feel welcome and kept the day fun and informative. We visited Doi Suthep Temple, and Nong's in-depth knowledge of its history and cultural significance brought the place to life. He was patient with all our questions, and we never felt rushed—he gave us time to soak in the beauty of the temple while offering insightful stories along the way. The Sticky Waterfalls was absolutely breathtaking. It was a crowded day but we stay had so much fun! Climbing the waterfalls was such a unique experience, and he made sure we felt safe and enjoyed the moment. Plus, he was always ready to help us snap the perfect photos! The whole day was a perfect mix of adventure, culture, and relaxation. If you're visiting Chiang Mai, this is a must-do tour, and I highly recommend Nong as your guide. He truly made the experience unforgettable!

This tour was the absolute highlight of my trip to Thailand. My guide, Nong, spoke perfect English and was very knowledgeable about the temple and its history. the waterfalls were fantastic, so surreal to climb up them! Slight inconsistency as on other tours (I did several with Forever Vacation) drinks were included but on this one I had to pay for an iced tea. Not a problem, just inconsistent. I felt very safe, which is important as a solo female, the whole time, and I highly recommend this tour.

We loved our tour in Chiang Mai! Nong was great and very knowledgeable about the history and was very polite and courteous. We really enjoyed visiting the beautiful Doi Suthep temple, a must visit site and loved our experience at rhetorical Sticky Waterfalls. As always FV team really know how to capture the moment and Nong took some great photos for us. Highly recommend using FV team and Nong next time you visit Chiang Mai!

Our guide Nong was an amazing host from start to finish. Very friendly and also knowledgeable about what we covered on our tour. From initial booking until completion of the trip has been perfect. Every detail covered and always at the end of the phone if I had any queries. If you are looking for a trip in Chiang Mai I would definitely recommend the Forever vacation tour group.

Stayed in Chiang Mai for a month and did 20+ tours with multiple companies. This was by far the most expensive (paid 9,000 baht) and least impressive day tour of my entire trip. Sadly, the tour quality did not match the premium price. I went on tours costing 2,000 baht that were much better experiences. Many reasons for this feeling but will only list a couple here: I opted for coffee instead of a free lunch but had to pay for my own coffee, so nothing was included. I was told we could not walk a 30min trail at a stop even though there was time. Sure enough, we finished the tour very early and although I paid for a full day, I was brought back early (before 3:30pm) and received less than 7-hrs' worth of a tour. In the end, I was left feeling that 5,000+ baht of my hard earned money was wasted. Hopefully, my review will save others from the same regret.

The itinerary is very good and the guide was kind and helpful, but there were some problems with our tour: the van stank of tobacco first thing in the morning (we were the first passengers to be collected) and every time we went in the van thereafter. We believe that the driver smoke outside but it was still very uncomfortable. Also, the guide advanced quickly through the sites and didn’t wait for us if we stopped a minute to take a picture. We arrived at the hotel almost an hour before the finishing time; I believe the guide and driver were trying to avoid traffic but we felt rushed, we feel that one more hour overall would have been enough to be able to enjoy the sites. Otherwise you’re probably better off hiring a private driver and spending as much time as you want on every site.

I spent the day with Kent who is very educated and likes to transmit. He listened to my questions and showed me great places. I recommend this visit to the beautiful Doi suthep temple and the surprising sticky poop!
