We had a really friendly and informative tour guide (whose nickname is Chia). And also a good and safe driver. The places we visited were more interesting than I had expected. There is no need worry about your fitness level if you take this tour, because there is not a great deal of walking necessary. Ample time was given to view and explore many interesting places

This tour was quite amazing. A lot of sites to see all in one day. Also, the perfect amount of time was allotted for each destination which made for a fast-paced, but totally relaxed excursion. Our guide, Cheer, was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of information regarding each site and also was very open to answering any question we had. I'd give this tour a 10/10 as it included so much of the best that Chiang Rai has to offer and the visit to the Golden Triangle was just an added bonus that was very rewarding. The entire tour was great.

Very long day but worth it, we stayed in chiang rai for 2 nights which I'm very glad about as the 3 hour drive each way from chiang mai would have a pain. The white temple was amazingly beautiful, blue temple stunning, our guide was very knowledgeable, all in all a brilliant day.

What a great experience! Our driver, Anthony, was driving carefully and seriously. Our guide Yok informed us very well about the seven places visited, with a lot of humor. We ate well. Everything was perfect! We recommend this day trip.

Excellent tour, covering the main “go to” areas, with a small group and knowledgeable tour guide. The White temple was certainly the highlight of the trip - although not as old as other temples it was stunning ! You arrive at the same time as many other tour busses so the queue at the pathway is busy with everyone taking photos etc. My advice would be to go back again in the last 10 minutes (you have an hour here) - no queue, so excellent photos ! Next off to the Blue temple- quite nice, but not spectacular. The Black museum is a large complex of “houses” showing the artwork and sculptures of a famous Thai artist (sorry can’t remember his name). I really enjoyed exploring the area - although an hour was a little long (this must be to create time for lunch to be ready - great Thai food !). The Long neck Karen tribe has had mixed reviews on here - but I found it fascinating. Yes the main area is set up for tourists, but it’s an income for the tribe. But if you explore the allies behind - and you are encouraged to do so- you see their houses, school and recreational areas. All the people were really friendly and seemed genuinely pleased you have taken an interest. Then the journey continued to a tea plantation- a huge operation, but with a great visitor centre and the opportunity for a 3:00pm cuppa ! Next to the golden triangle- loads of history. Then to the opium museum - this was another surprise. Take the time to read all the info in a very well presented museum- loads to look at and gives the history of opium and the subsequent trade wars. Picked up at 08:15 - dropped off at 6:30pm. Guide spoke good English and surprisingly some Italian and French too. Certainly worth the money.
