• A beautiful one day tour of Chiang Rai temples

  We absolutely loved everything about this tour. The temples are really stunning and we spent adequate time at each spot. It never felt rushed. We were guided by Yut, who was always very nice, kind and smiling. He took a lot of beautiful pictures of us and took really good care of us, throughout the trip. He also gave us very interesting historical background of the temples. All in all, it was a great experience. Highly recommended :-)

  What looked like a very long and tiring day on paper turned out to be not at all and well worth it. That said, we were very fortunate to have a wonderful tour guide and driver in Tong who made the day an amazing experience.

  What a great day to Chiang Rai and the temples with Tong as our amazing driver and guide. He made it very special from the start, such a warm and funny person always checking we were ok and making sure we had everything that we needed. The small things like providing a local snack (which we probably wouldn’t have tried), tissues for the rest rooms, cold water, phone charger, and his recommendations for local Thai dishes and places in Chiang Mai (which were spot on!). He made the trip fun and very informative and always offering to take photos for us in great spots. It is a long day but it is worth it to see the unique temples and hear from Tong the history of them and show us things we wouldn’t have noticed on our own. We had another trip booked with Pagoda View Tours 2 days before with Tong and luckily we had him again as our guide for this trip!!! Great day thank you and if only all tour guides were like Tong!

  We enjoyed a 3-day private tour of Chiang Mai highlights with Top Thai Holidays Ltd on 12th to 14th February 2026. Our tour guide was Nan and our driver was Mr Sao. Nan was professional and friendly, informative, and flexible, adapting to the needs of our 5 person group. Our driver Mr Sao was excellent, a very helpful and safe driver. Some of the highlights of our tour included visits to an ethical elephant sanctuary for elderly elephants, Wat Phra That Doi Suthep temple with panoramic views of the city, Wat Pra Singh golden temple, a tricycle (samlor) ride around the old city, Hill Tribe Village learning about the traditional lifestyle, culture, and handicrafts, a northern Thai cuisine dinner with traditional cultural dancing, the Bo Sang Umbrella Community Enterprise, the stunning Royal Flora Ratchaphruek Park, a beautifully landscaped botanical garden, and wonderful lunches at Khaomao-Khaofang Restaurant and another restaurant that housed a stunning orchid display.

  We can find no fault with our visit to the Temples, which are really worth a visit. Our driver Yut struck the right balance between being informative as well as allowing us to explore by ourselves whilst also being on hand to act as a photographer. A great day.

  Going to see the temples in the Chiang Rai area with the private van was the perfect way to do it. We were ahead of most of the tour buses and crowds. We definitely recommend and our guide was great.

  Exceptional tour with Yut who was super knowledgeable, kind and accommodating! He knew all the best times to visit, where to take pictures from and pertinent knowledge about the temples. I had such a blast I even requested we add another temple to the visit and it was gladly accepted. One of the best tours I have taken! Thank you, Yut!!

  My husband and I had a fantastic trip to see the Chiang Rai temples with Yut as our guide and driver. He was a delight! Prompt pickup in his newer SUV, stocked with cold water, snacks and cold towels. He was a very careful driver and always managed to get great parking spots too. We had a lovely lunch where he introduced us to new foods and local pineapple. His English was excellent and he taught us many things about each of the temples as well as the Buddhist religion.
