5.00Our driver and guide, Poon, was an excellent source of information throughout our tour of the Temples in Chiang Rai. We had an absolutely wonderful time and were very pleased with Poon and enjoyed his company and conversation.
Amazing Guide Tong and The Beautiful Temples

5.00This tour was brilliant! All the temples seen here were each so unique and different, and even though only around 3 hours further north of Chiang Mai where we are staying the temples differ in style greatly even just slightly further north. However, the drive did absolutely not feel this long due to chatting from our wonderful tourguide who shared Lana folkmusic with us during the journey home which was lovely to listen to and spaced the journey to Chiang Rai out with several stops as well as toilet breaks whenever we needed (including on the returning journey) We also tried some authentic northern Thai food, which was not only tasty but culturally insightful. However, this trip would not be nearly as good without our excellent and attentive tour guide Tong. He was so kind to me (14) and my mum , making sure we were okay as well as making us laugh and happy. He did all of this tour on his own, photos and videos, tour guiding, "body guard" and driving and even went out of his way to buy us several snacks throughout the trip, including bringing some rice snacks from his village. Thank you so much Tong for treating me and my mum like royalty and being so amazing and kind. He truly went above and beyond, even giving us a souvenir at the end. This is an amazing amazing trip made especially amazing by wonderful guide Tong. Me and my mum have some excellent photos together which we wil cherish forever.

5.00We had the best tour guide, videographer, driver, photographer and 'body guard'! Tong was a true gentleman and looked after me and my daughter like we were royalty. He made sure to check we were ok and made our day unforgettable. We visited 4 temples with Tong where he showed us around each and told us information about them. Best of all he took fantastic photos for us, something which is hard to get when you are traveling as a single parent. I was nervous about the long drive, but Tong made sure to stop along the way. He also respected that we would be tired and let us relax and sleep when we needed to. This tour has been one of the best I've done whilst staying in Chiang Mai, and this is down to the fantastic Tong and his excellent knowledge and people skills. Thank you so much Tong. We will definitely contact you when we next visit.

5.00The tour was a great opportunity to experience Chiang Rai and the surrounding area fire the first or 100th time. Our guide, Yut, was informative and kind. We learned so much about the temples and the culture of the area. It felt like we were visiting with a good friend as Yut shared his country with us.

5.00We booked this tour last minute the night before and were not disappointed. May and Eddy were our guides and were wonderful! May taught us about Thai culture and the history of each temple we visited. Plus took amazing photos for us. The White Temple is a must! 10/10 recommend!

5.00We had a memorable day visiting Chiang Rai white and blue temples which were stunning. It was a long journey but we really enjoyed the scenery and our guide Poon spoke excellent English. We had good conversation along the way. His car was very comfortable and driving extremely safe. We ended our journey in Chiang Kong as we were travelling to Laos the next day.
Memorable Experience that was worth every penny! 😀

5.00The private tour was fantastic. Yut, our tour guide and driver, was exceptional and took very good care of us. He was very knowledgeable on all of the temples and was very patient while we took a lot of pictures. He made us very comfortable in the car by offering us water, use of USB cables and he even had USB charging outlets in the back seat too. He also offered us little garbage bags for our nut shells too. He also went the extra mile by carrying my heavy camera bag and camera at times too. He was also very flexible as I really wanted to be at the White Temple at sunset and he ensured we had lots of time to enjoy the White Temple and the sunset. Finally, for our lunch we asked him if we could visit a good and authentic Thai restaurant that LOCALS would go to and he took us to one that was simply amazing, delicious and had dishes we had never seen before. I highly recommend this tour and I highly advise requesting Yut. Thanks again to Yut and Pagoda View Tours for a memorable experience!
