Dash was so enthusiastic about his city and its history! This was not just a food tour. We loved the three iconic Chicago meals we tasted, but he also was an amazing resource for the history of the city. We highly recommend!

Dash was the tour guide and he provided a great tour. He taught us interesting historical facts about Chicago's past and present. He was enthusiastic and is a good public speaker. The good was good and plentiful. Recommend the tour and Dash.

First, I want to state the positive of this exhibition. The guide was very knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely professional. With that said, there were several downsides. First, the company stated that the time opening we requested was not available (I.e. 3 pm). There was a miscommunication between the guide and the booking company as the guide was expecting the time requested versus the time that was assigned (one hour later). Our entire party had to scramble to meet our guide otherwise risk losing reservations with one of the restaurants. Being a former person working downtown Chicago and having some city knowledge, riding the L-train (in my opinion) was a sort of a downer. The tour never mentioned anything about walking (as their competitors did). One of the people in our group was handicap and this is not a handicap friendly tour. The food was mediocre. I think everyone mentioned that the pizza was not appetizing with the sausage on it and many didn’t feel well afterward. The only beverage was water and I would expected soft drinks with the cost of the tour. If I was to do it again, I would have pick and chose my own if you are just wanting a Chicago food culture background.

Dash was very knowledgeable about the architecture and history of Chicago. My son and I enjoyed ourselves very much. Food was delicious and the 2 hour walk was not overly strenuous.

Dash was terrific! The tour itself was good, but what made it exceptional, was him. He has and SO much knowledge about the city, great stories, tons of history-those are the things that made the tour so great!
