5.00This is one of those giant bus with 50 people tours. And the tour included a tourist trap as its first stop. But as long as you know that’s what you are getting into, it was a good experience. The company sent plenty of reminders for the trip, but unfortunately because I did not have regular service, we did not see the message about the time change for pick up until we got up at 5 for the regular 6:30 AM pickup. It was sent through the app after 21:00, and their previous message around 17:20 still had the original pickup time. The company did respond within the hour to confirm that the pickup time indeed changed to 8:20 AM. Our guide Hugo was great, very sweet and knowledgeable. All the other parts of the tour went as expected and surprisingly the whole bus adhered to the time to get back pretty well. Do pack a snack because lunch is quite late in the day and we didn’t get back until after 19:30.

5.00One of the best tour I’ve been on so far. Our guide Luis and the captain Carlos were amazing. They gave us so much of information and history about the Mayan culture and it is so fascinating. Loved the energy. Learnt a lot about the Mayan history, culture and facts
The organization, explanation and information about what we see and where to meet for each signing site can be better.

5.00Everything went smoothly - pickup, visits and drop off. No waiting at Chichen Itza because they arrange to buy your tickets ahead of time. Buffet was good - tasted better than at our all-inclusive. Guide Edwin was entertaining and informative. Be ready for overpriced items at the Cenote and Mayan-stop shops though - kinda expected. Overall I enjoyed the day trip - would recommend.

4.00Time at Cenote was not sufficient. Buffett lunch was not that great. But overall , it was great experience. We didnot want to stay on the resort all the time. Very valuable source to know about ancient Mayan remains. City of valladolid was charming. Cesar ( guide) was very knowledgeable.
Additional taxes they charge for which is a scam!

4.00The tour was nice and organized, but we just realized that we were scammed. The Amigo tour charges you an additional $40 per person claiming it is to cover for the State and Cultural Mexican taxes. However, this is already included in 571 pesos paid for each ticket! We believe they pocket the additional 40 dollars in the name of taxes. Also, they asked us to rate them highly at 5 and give them a good tip since they were with us for 12 hours of this tour. Pastor was our tour guide. Drinks and water were not included for this high price, and it is very hot there at Chichen Itza. Try to book with another tour from your hotel, and not from Viator or on websites, you will end up paying way more.
