4.00George was very friendly and informative. He engaged nicely with the group a d answered all the questions. It took his time and didn't rush in ny of the viewing points. The tablet with the photos to explain the history and give context were a very nice touch.

She was very knowledgeable and took her time explaining all aspects of the site, with lots of information about Mayan civilization also. She was happy to answer all of our questions. No issue meeting her at the very crowded entrance area. Would definitely recommend.

5.00Our guide, Jesus, was amazing! We arrived 1 hour early and he was able to accommodate starting our tour when we arrived! We arrived by rental car, and he also provided us good instructions on arrival to avoid confusion with other tour operators and people trying to sell parking outside the official site. He was incredibly knowledgeable, teaching us about the Mayan civilization, culture, and details about the calendar which tied directly to Chichen Itza. He took time to draw things out for us, and the illustrations made it so much easier to comprehend all the nuances. We even leaned to count using the Mayan hieroglyphs. I didn’t see any other guides doing this. Highly recommend this private tour with Jesus.

5.00So we booked via Tripadvisor and we got all sorts of good advise up front and on the day of the excursion they really saved the day🥳 First of, I told them we were coming by rental car and we got advise on what time to arrive for parking and warned about “campers” along the roads leading up to Chichen itza. It’s kind of crazy but guys dressed as roadworkers will try to, with orange flags and all, to get you to pull over over. Just DONT! But politely cruise on without stopping. This goes on for some kilometers and they will look really official and all, but they are not. So don’t fall for it, they are there to sell you stuff and maps and whatever. Thx to our guides letting us know up front we didn’t fall for it but it was still a really weird experience driving thru it.. Second, I accidentally took the wrong toll road, leading to Cancun instead of Valladolid, causing a 40min delay for us, and 90km detour. We wrote our bookers via Tripadvisor and they hooked up us directly, via what’s app, to our guides at Chichen itza. They arranged it so that we could pickup our tickets, by one of their assistants who waited for us (Ruby) by the main gate and she then followed us in to the main group inside the complex. The guide Eric took five minutes to bring us up to speed and we all had a wonderful and interesting time🥳🥳🥳 Insanely happy for saving the day for our whole family💪

5.00I booked a small group guided tour of Chichen Itza at short notice online (guide only option). Excellent communication before the tour. The guide had my name on a board at Chichen Itza. The 1.5 hour tour with Jorge was excellent and fun. Lots of history and information about Chichen Itza and the Mayas in the Yucatan. At the end we could explore on our own.
