Chichen Itza
Our first stop is Chichen Itza. We'll arrive at about opening time so besides having the archaeological site for your own you'll also avoid the heat. A multilingual certified guide (+- 1 1/2hrs) will explain you about the Itzáes, the ancient inhabitants of Chichén Itzá, their impressive 30m/98ft high Castle of Kukulcán (and its solar calendar reflected in it), the largest Ball Court in Mesoamerica and the Temple of the Warriors. After the guided visit you’ll have +- 1hr free time.
Cenote Yokdzonot
After visiting the archaeological site, we’ll go to a remote cenote. A quiet place to rest or take a refreshing dip. There we will have lunch made by the local Mayan women community.

We had a great day with Hilberto at Chichen Itza and the Cenote. Thoroughly enjoyed it. I really enjoyed hearing Hilberto’s perspectives on Mayan history as a local person. He was patient with questions and also took great photos of us

We had a great time with Gilberto, who had a deep knowledge of Mayan history. The tour was well organised and interestingly varied, staying the right amount of time at each stop. We would highly recommend for anyone wanting to get a better insight into Yucatán history!

A great combo experience - José was very knowledgeable about the area as a local. Getting to Chichén Itzá before the mobs from Cancun do is definitely a bonus! There is minimal cover there during the lectures at various spots, so be sure to bring sun protection! There may be umbrellas in the transport van. The cenote was beautiful - we were a little sad that bulky life vests were required as that made it difficult to swim around very well. The water was perfect. The food was delicious. Izamal was picturesque, and it was neat to climb a Mayan pyramid. It was typical for a multi-stop tour in that you really want more time at each place to explore, but you're on a timeline. They balance it as best they can.

Loved that we were in a small private group (only 4 plus the guide.) He was extremely knowledgable and a wealth of information.
