Our tour was definitely the highlight of our anniversary trip to the Riviera Maya. Diego was an exceptional tour guide, and through his in-depth knowledge of Mayan civilization, really made the history come to life. We thoroughly enjoyed our authentic Mexican lunch in Valladolid and were in awe of the private cenote we visited. It was so nice to be able to escape the crowds and have a relaxing one-on-one experience with a private tour. Pixan is the best!

We just did a full day tour with Servando (guide) and Felipe (driver) and I couldn’t recommend them more highly. We had ten family members ages 13 to 80 and there was something for everyone! We started our journey early (630am pickup) in an effort to beat the crowds to Chichen Itza. Servando gave us a great explanation of things as we drove to the ruins and is clearly an expert on the Mayan culture and history! We beat the crowds and on our way out noticed an uncomfortably long line of cars and buses and zero parking left. Our next stop was a beautiful private cenote. The grounds, changing rooms, trail and bathrooms at this cenote were clean and very accessible and the cenote itself was incredible! Due to our own time constraints we skipped visiting the town of Vallododid but will certainly visit it the next time we are in the area. Our final stop was an incredible visit and lunch with a Mayan family. We dined in their home and enjoyed Mayan cuisine cooked in a traditional way. It was an amazing visit and cultural experience for all of us but especially our teens. We toured the family’s gardens at the end of a delicious meal. I would highly recommend taking advantage of this part of the tour if offered. It was the best meal we had our entire week and we were staying at a beautiful resort with great meal options. Overall, Felipe and Servando were enthusiastic, helpful, gracious and we learned more than we expected to learn. I would definitely do another tour with them in the future!

My wife and I had an awesome time. Our guide was Servando, he was not your normal guide , he was truly interested and knowledgeable about Mayan culture . He had even learned to read their pictograms. We spent about 12 hours with him and learned so much about Mexico and the Mayans.

My friend and I took this trip and it was one of our favorite things from our Mexico vacation. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Playa Del Carman area who is interested in a glimpse into both modern and ancient Mexican culture. Our guide Caesar was amazing. He shared a wealth of knowledge into the Mayan culture and brought to life our experience at Chichen Itza. He was extremely polite, accommodating, and professional, and our conversation with him made the long drive out to the Yucatan temple go by very quickly. Having the admission tickets throughout our tour provided by Caesar made everything seamless and simple. He went above and beyond, capturing lots of photos and videos for us during our day with him. Should we ever make a trip back to this part of Mexico we'll be contacting Caesar to see what's next!

Traveling as a group of friends, we journeyed back through time with Diego and Felipe on two tours: Chichen Itza and Tulum. Diego, our personable guide and Felipe our steadfast driver, focused on our interests, curiosity, comfort and safety. Sharing an extensive knowledge of Mayan culture, love of excellent food and the beauty of their country, we were welcomed as friends. We travelled through an underground river and swam in beautiful cenotes, in Valladolid we ate in a wonderful restaurant (same one as Rick Steves) and tasted Mayan chocolate. In Tulum we shared their favorite taqueria. Thank you Diego and Felipe for sharing your love of culture and county with us.

Absolutely unforgettable day from start to finish. Chichen Itza was incredible with a knowledgeable guide who shared history and culture in a way that truly resonated. Valladolid was colourful, authentic, and full of charm. But the highlight was the cenote - exclusive, serene, and breathtaking. Swimming there together felt magical and made this the perfect honeymoon memory.

Diego and team were absolutely incredible! We did two tours with Pixan and the knowledge, professionalism, and preparedness for both tours were fantastic. Diego took us to locations that were not the typical tourist spots and gave us an authentic experience. Diego’s expertise about the ruins were top notch and the cenotes we saw were breathtaking. We were a group of 11 ranging in age from 20 to 78 and Diego made sure we were all taken care of at all times. We can’t recommend Pixan enough. We’ve traveled many places and our two days with Pixan were the best we’ve ever experienced! Thank you for the amazing tours and memories!

We had 4 adults a 12, 14 and 16 yr old. We traveled out to Chichen Iza in the early am. Diego made sure we were the first in to beat the crowds and the heat! Definitely worth getting up early. Diego brought the city alive and shared so much valuable history of the ruins and city. Diego is extremely knowledgeable. He took us to a wonderful and delicious hacienda family restaurant in Valladolid. Then showed us around the town. We felt like we were in a movie set with the authentic buildings, churches and squares. We felt very safe walking around all the places Diego took us! In the heat of the afternoon, we made our final stop to the Cenote! We were one of only a few people. Not crowded at all. The cenote was magical! It does have a lot of steps to get down to the water, if you have someone who has trouble with steps. The water was refreshing. The cenote was like swimming in a cave. Such an awesome experience! The day was filled with history, fun and excitement! Highly recommend taking a tour with Diego!

We booked with Pixan Travel, and it was absolutely worth it! Our guide was outstanding—knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the history of Chichén Itzá. We were among the first groups to arrive, which made the experience even more special. He explained every detail with incredible insight, bringing the ancient city to life. The vehicle was super comfortable, making the journey smooth and enjoyable. One of the highlights was visiting local spots in Valladolid, where we got to try authentic ice cream and delicious chocolate. And the cenote? Simply breathtaking! Crystal-clear water in a serene cave, and we had it all to ourselves. If you're considering a private tour—do it! The personalized experience is 100% worth it. Highly recommended!

Fantastic tour with an amazing guide Euri. She arrived right on time in a comfortable vehicle and got us to site in minimal time. She also arranged lunch for us as guests in a private home which was an amazing experience. Chitzen Itza blew me away and our guide had incredible knowledge of the archeological findings. The swim at the cenote caped the day. I can not say enough
