What To Expect
ITINERARY TO THE ROOF OF THE WORLD 08:00 AM | Meeting Point: We start the adventure with pickup at the place of your choice in Riobamba (Hotel, Park or Terminal). 09:10 AM | Registration at the Reserve: Arrival at the entrance control of the Chimborazo Volcano. Important: It is mandatory to carry your original passport for registration. 09 : 30 AM | The Hermanos Carrel Shelter is reached at 4,845 meters. Here the visitor has 3 hours to explore the different tourist attractions of the area such as the Wymper Refuge at 5000 meters and the lagoon condor cocha at 5100m 12 : 30 AM | Transport begins return to Riobamba What to wear? 1. Clothing and footwear suitable for cold and rainy weather. 2. Sunglasses for snow reflection. 3. Candy to counteract the effects of height. 4. Passport. 5. Sunblock

5.00Byron had picked me up super on time. Unfortunately, I don't speak Spanish and he doesn't speak English. But thanks to a speaking translator he had with him, there were no communication difficulties. On the hike, which I went up to 5100 m, he adapted to my speed, including small breaks. Because the air is pretty thin up there. He also sent me photos, videos and a summary of the route we went. Everything was wonderful. Recommended.

5.00My husband and I had a great trip with Byron to Chimborazo. The hike was a challenging one, but Byron was very patient and checked in regularly to make sure we were doing alright and felt comfortable continuing. We really enjoyed the experience- the snow, the challenge, the dog we met who just happened to come along with us! We would definitely recommend this.

5.00Very nice having private transportation to get us on the hill early. We were returning as the majority of groups were just starting. Very prompt communication with whatsapp messaging. Also accompanied us on the walk and took pictures for us. Would recommend.

5.00It's not every day you can drive to 4850 meters and walk up to 5000 meters. We braved the strong winds and altitude and were able to make the walk. Riobamba was clouded in so we were glad it was nice and clear at the huts. I was surprised that our driver made the walk whys and was happy he was there to photograph us together.
