In the mornings, we drive in a car with ponies. Anyway, the sky is blue and wide! It was a great pleasure to see elephants, giraffes, lions, impalas and more up close! In the afternoon, we met crocodiles and hippos from the Zambia River by boat. Lunch was delicious, too. It was a one-day tour from Livingston across the border into Botswana, but I was relieved to have a good pick-up and drop-off.

I participated in the beginning of May. We had a full day plan and could experience it in the morning by safari car and in the afternoon by boat. I am very satisfied to see many animals including lions and hippos. In particular, we had the opportunity to see elephants, giraffes and many wild birds up close. The African Fish Eagle was also very cool! If you have binoculars during the boat safari, it will be easier to observe distant buffaloes and monitor lizards. The guide had a very good eye and told me at the point of view. I recommend it.

The safari experience is amazing! I saw lions resting in the shade! In addition, impalas, giraffes, elephants, holo birds, and even birds that look just like Zazu the Lion King will be appearing one after the other, and the tension will explode! The warthogs are just munching on the side of the road, which is not safari or anything, and they're already too pretty...! By the way, there are so many impala and holo-holo birds that you start to get pigeon-level treatment of them halfway through the game, saying, "Oh, there they are again" (laughs). After the safari experience, you can patter a delicious lunch at a nearby hotel and recharge your energy! Let's go to the boat safari~! The view from the boat is the most pleasant, and you can relax and feel the wind. And from the boat, we got up close and personal with crocodiles, hippos, eagles, buffalo and even elephants bathing! Impressive.

I booked a day safari to Chobe National Park from Livingstone, and overall it was a good experience with some very strong moments, especially the afternoon boat cruise. Our day started early at 6:45 AM with pickup by John, who transferred us from Livingstone to the Kazungula Border Post. The border crossing between Zambia and Botswana was surprisingly easy and efficient. After that, we had to wait while additional guests arriving from Zimbabwe were picked up, which unfortunately caused quite a bit of lost time. Once we met our safari guide and entered Chobe National Park, the wildlife was fantastic as expected. However, compared to other safaris I’ve done, the game drive felt a bit rushed. The guide was driving very fast, apparently trying to catch up on time and take us to a lion that had been spotted earlier. Because of this, we were rarely able to stop properly for photos, and there were fewer explanations about the animals and environment than I would have liked. Lunch was a buffet served at a lodge around midday, with a good selection of food and a pleasant setting. The highlight of the day was definitely the afternoon cruise on the Kwando River. The guide was excellent: very friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to provide detailed explanations throughout the trip. We saw many hippos and crocodiles up close, and the atmosphere on the river was incredible. After the cruise, we returned to Kazungula and crossed back into Zambia just as easily. John was waiting for me and safely drove me back to Livingstone. Overall, a worthwhile excursion with an amazing river safari, although the morning game drive could have been more relaxed and informative.

We were scheduled to have the lodge pick us up at 6:40, but due to traffic conditions we were picked up around 7:00. Cross the border at Kazungula and enter Botswana. We had a game drive in the morning and lunch was a buffet at the lodge. In the afternoon we enjoyed a boat safari. The staff changed over the border and in the afternoon, but everyone was well attended to.

Of all the different guides on our trip to Africa, John at Henric was by far the best! Patient as we had 10 people, and wind changed alot of plans, but he adjusted on the fly. Microlights Chobe day trip Devil's Pool All of the border crossings He was fantastic
