What To Expect
Get ready for a fun, flavorful and interactive journey about the true Curaçao Liqueur at the historic Chobolobo mansion. Learn about the bitter but aromatic and flavorful “Laraha” or “Golden Orange” found only on Curaçao. Discover how it evolved and the origins of the Senior family’s historic Curaçao Liqueur. Explore the Curaçao Liqueur Distillery with a knowledgeable and friendly local guide. Learn about our kosher operation, how we make this ‘other’ orange liqueur and the story of the world-famous Blue Curaçao. Meet a local bartender, in the historic 19th century Hòfi (garden), who will give you a taste of our various unique liqueur flavors and tell you the story behind each one. He’ll show you how to mix, shake and garnish Caribbean-hued tropical cocktails, and then it’s your turn to make your own signature cocktail. 5.00We had a group of 11 and our tour was rescheduled to the day we were leaving so we were in a bit of a hurry. I wish we would have had more time because we had so much fun!!!

5.00Tour was great. Very knowledgeable friendly staff. And the bartending experience was a great top off to the tour. We never felt rushed. After we had to wait for our cab and we spent a lot of time talking to the staff. Great experience.

5.00We had a great time. It was informative and our tourguide was great. When we arrived we started off with a peach and curacao mixed drink. Very refreshing. After the tour we had an opportunity to individually mix two of our own drinks following the recipes provided (maybe 12 options). It was fun to learn the proper technique and procedure for making these. You make one drink at a time and then enjoy it before proceeding to the second. It was a blast. The experience is limited to maybe 20 people at a time, we had 12. It was a great 2 hour experience. The staff was fun to interact with.

5.00We had a wonderful experience at Landhuis Chobolobo! The welcome drink was refreshing and light. The tour itself was informative and not too lengthy — our tour guide, Genesis, was so knowledgeable and interactive. We loved the cocktail workshop at the end where we got to make two different cocktails with Genuine Curacao liqueur. Bonus - they provide trailmix/mixed nuts to munch on while you make your drinks :) Overall, it was an amazing trip and I would DEFINITELY recommend this experience!

5.00Super fun experience! I do recommend the tour with guide incl. making the (mock) cocktails yourself otherwise you will quickly finish the tour. The guide tells interactively about the company in a very fun and enthusiastic way.

5.00Very informative tour of the distillery. Our guide, Genesis, was very knowledgeable and engaged participants with questions and demonstrations. The small group size was a plus. The workshop was a fun experience. The bartenders assigned to us were genial and helpful. Due to the small group size, we were able to interact and ask about the different types of drinks everyone was making. Because you mix the cocktails yourself (with guidance), you can tailor them to your taste, maybe a little stronger or weaker. There are non-alcohol recipes available, as well. Overall, an interesting, engaging and fun experience.
