My tour guide, Legend, picked me up from my hotel at 7:30AM before we made the (approximately) 3 hour drive to Wulong National Park. We were able to get to know each other a little and discuss interesting topics along the way. Legend speaks perfect English, so there was no communication barrier to worry about. We started off by walking along the cliff edge before taking the glass elevator down and beginning our walk through the Three Natural Bridges. The clouds were quite low the day I visited creating an almost misty effect, which made the whole place look incredible & moody. The landscape and setting really were quite special - I've never been anywhere like that before. The Three Natural Bridges are basically huge, open caves that you can walk through from one to the next. They are absolutely massive and make you feel so small. We finished the trip by eating at a local hostel / restaurant. The food was very tasty, plentiful & locally sourced. It was definitely an authentic offering, and very fresh. Thanks to Legend for a great day!

Legend was a really nice tour guide who had good knowledge about Wulong Karst National Park. He helped us to understand more about this spectacular landscape. He was very thoughtful about our safety in walking along the park, and a safe driver, too. He also hosted us at a local village restaurant with organic farm food which was delicious. Overall the trip was very relaxing and enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Wulong is a beautiful place that’s well worth a day trip if you’re in Chongqing. The lunch that our tour guide Legend ordered was a feast that we enjoyed immensely. Only downside would be that it’s a 3hr trip each way, although Legend is a very safe driver and his vehicle is very clean & comfortable.

Legend keeps the entire trip engaging and interesting. Though the car journey was long to WuLong, Legend made sure that we are comfortable and provided informative facts about Chongqing and Wulong. Lunch was delicious with generous portion, featuring their local produce and home styled cooking. At WuLong, he ensured that our wellbeing were taken care of, reminding us of slippery steps and safety hazards out at the park. He also told us which are the beautiful spots to have our picture taken and the symbolism of Chinese metaphysics the features in the park entails. Do bring jacket and umbrella along as the micro climate in the national park is highly unpredictable. I would definitely recommend Legend for anyone going to WuLong for this tour, especially if you are visiting for the first time.
