Legend did not get his name by accident. He is truly a legend when it comes to guided tours. Prior to the tour date, he kept us up to date with weather to ensure we were prepared. His punctuality and professionalism was nothing less than what you would expect from a top notch guide. We especially appreciated his knowledge and experience which allowed us to leave early and beat the massive rush of tour buses. This left us with almost a private tour of the area making photo opportunities seem endless. Very highly recommended. We will definitely come back for our next “legendary” tour in the area!

This was an amazing tour. I would highly recommend it for any foreigners travelling to Chongqing. The national park is a 2 1/2-3 hrs drive outside of the CBD of Chongqing. The drive there is very scenic and relaxing. It shows both the scale of Chongqing and the beauty of the area. We went there in the winter so there wasn’t as many people around. There was also a fog that blanketed the area making it feel quite magical. When you arrive at Wulong National park it’s at higher elevation and is quite chilly so make sure to bring warmer clothes. The walk through the park is out of this world. The scale of the sink hole is not able to be shown properly in pictures, it really doesn’t do it justice. The walk is quite long but is very flat which makes it easy. There are also people you can pay to carry you in a chair if it’s too much for you. I went with a 73 and 76 yr old and they managed well without assistance. Our guide, Legend, made the tour even better. His knowledge and advice on best places to take photos was great. He made sure we were safe and comfortable throughout. After the tour he took us to a restaurant where we were given way too much yummy food and warmed back up. Overall, this was a highlight of our trip and it’s definitely worth doing.

Legend took great care of our family over our 3 days in Chongqing and showed us around with activities and private transport thoughtfully planned. We enjoyed the wonders of nature in particular, as we hiked through the beautiful Wulong and Fairy Mountain together. Meals were some of the best we’ve had during this China trip — fresh, delicious local food at hidden gems which we would never have found on our own - and were always enjoyable like with friends. Legend speaks impeccable English too, and we would surely recommend our friends and family to join a Legend tour if they are in town!

My tour guide, Legend, picked me up from my hotel at 7:30AM before we made the (approximately) 3 hour drive to Wulong National Park. We were able to get to know each other a little and discuss interesting topics along the way. Legend speaks perfect English, so there was no communication barrier to worry about. We started off by walking along the cliff edge before taking the glass elevator down and beginning our walk through the Three Natural Bridges. The clouds were quite low the day I visited creating an almost misty effect, which made the whole place look incredible & moody. The landscape and setting really were quite special - I've never been anywhere like that before. The Three Natural Bridges are basically huge, open caves that you can walk through from one to the next. They are absolutely massive and make you feel so small. We finished the trip by eating at a local hostel / restaurant. The food was very tasty, plentiful & locally sourced. It was definitely an authentic offering, and very fresh. Thanks to Legend for a great day!

Legend was a really nice tour guide who had good knowledge about Wulong Karst National Park. He helped us to understand more about this spectacular landscape. He was very thoughtful about our safety in walking along the park, and a safe driver, too. He also hosted us at a local village restaurant with organic farm food which was delicious. Overall the trip was very relaxing and enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Wulong is a beautiful place that’s well worth a day trip if you’re in Chongqing. The lunch that our tour guide Legend ordered was a feast that we enjoyed immensely. Only downside would be that it’s a 3hr trip each way, although Legend is a very safe driver and his vehicle is very clean & comfortable.
