Wulong Karst Geographic National Park is the second tour attraction inscribed on World Heritage List by UNESCO in Chongqing, the first one is Dazu Rock Carvings which mostly dedicates the cultural and historic side of Chongqing. This National park pretty much represents the natural side of this enormous city in western China. After Transformer IV was filmed in here, it's now becoming a super hot spot and the very first must go site in Chongqing.

What To Expect
Wulong Karst Geological Park
Get started from downtown Chongqing at 0730, that would helps to avoid rush hour and buy us more excursion time. After 3 hours driving we'll arrive at the tourist reception center. Upon arrival we need to take interior shuttle bus, which is mandatory for enviromental preservation. The ticket for both the national park and shuttle bus should be purchased here. After a 10 min bus ride we get to our primary site-natural born triple bridge. The admission fare covering both Wulong Geological National Parkand the interior shuttle bus ride is 155 yuan per adult. Chongqing-Wulong 192 km 3 hour's driving.
Wulong Tiankeng Three Bridges
Then move to Tiankeng(A giant sinkhole,also named the natural triple bridge), the primary sector of Wulong Karst Geological National Park. It's actually a grand valley throughs 3 ridges with naturaly formed sink holes, look just like 3 huge bridges. It's also the only site listed on World Heritage List by UNESCO. We firstly will take an 108 meters high cliff side viewing elevator to get down to the bottom Then we take a hiking tour through the giant sinkhole links all scenic spots including movie scenes of Transformer IV. The highlight is unique and magnificent natural landscape. The walking takes approximately 2 hours, moderate intensity.

5.00We had a great trip to the three natural bridges at Wulong, made even better by our guide, Legend. He is not only very knowledgeable, he is conversant in most subjects and responded to all our questions in a professional and competent manner. We felt like we had an insider trip with interesting tidbits about the history and culture of the area,the people's, and the nature. To top it off he took us to a family-run restaurant for some great Chinese hotpot. Oh -- he is also a careful driver who had some interesting comments about other drivers. Highly recommend!

5.00We selected this tour based on other reviews and we were not disappointed. Legend Tours is so professional and for us our trip was first time to this national park. Having Legend with us felt like he was one of our family. The park is spectacular and very unique. We needed to be warm due to the time of year. The bonus was the restaurant visit. We really felt like royalty and the food was superb. We felt very honoured to have met Legend and have no hesitation in recommending.

5.00We didn’t know what to expect when we signed up for the tour. Legend, our guide, picked us up promptly in a very comfortable car from our hotel and briefed us in detail about the journey. One of the rest area had a crazy queue at thr ladies! People were pushing and jostling their way in, and some were trying to cut the queue! A lady, toilet marshall (???) with a loud speaker, had to come inside to tell tje crowd to calm down and be orderly. My first time seeing a crowd go crazy trying to use the restrooms. Anyway, we got to our destination and the weather cleared up. It was such a pleasant cool/cold walk through the 3 bridges. Legend showed us the best spots for photography and the beat views. Breath taking UNESCO heritage site. Lunch was (non spicy) hotpot at a local restaurant. Spicy option is available, but Legend had thoughtfullu ordered thr non spicy one. It came with lots of fresh vegetables ans tofu, with some meat. The broth was tasty with local mushroom and chicken. We also ordered some spicy sauce which was very good and try picked for us to bring back to our home country. Very satisfying meal. It was a nice da spent outside the hustle and bustle of chongqing city.

5.00Five-star A+ trip! Legend was prompt, attentive, knowledgeable, and insightful. He provided fantastic commentary (in English - fully fluent), which made the experience much more enjoyable on many levels. The lunch was lowkey the best hotpot I’ve had (wonderful combination of quality, flavor and freshness). Highly recommend!

5.00Legend did not get his name by accident. He is truly a legend when it comes to guided tours. Prior to the tour date, he kept us up to date with weather to ensure we were prepared. His punctuality and professionalism was nothing less than what you would expect from a top notch guide. We especially appreciated his knowledge and experience which allowed us to leave early and beat the massive rush of tour buses. This left us with almost a private tour of the area making photo opportunities seem endless. Very highly recommended. We will definitely come back for our next “legendary” tour in the area!
