As the first place in Warsaw (in the city center right across from the National Museum) that started holding daily Chopin Concerts, we have organized more than 3600 concerts in the last decade. "Chopin Painted by Candlelights" concert series offers more than an opportunity to listen to live performance of Chopin in finest interpretation. It also is the chance to spend time with a glass of wine in a Chopin-Style-Salon where discussions on news, politics, and culture unfolded amidst music.
Additionally, each concert features either a show of specifically prepared photograghs of Polish landscape that was the inspiration to Chopin's music or a live painting show.

What To Expect

Enjoy a glass of wine in a pre-war Warsaw salon, directly opposite the National Museum, and embark on a magical adventure into the enchanting world of Chopin's music and art. Our “Chopin Painted by Candlelights” Concert Series are specifically created to intimately acquaint the listener with Chopin and the music of his heart. Each concert features the main pianist (sometimes accompanied by other musicians), and an artistic show of the famous portrait of Chopin lively painted on by the photographs of another famous Polish artist - Tomasz Sikora or a live painting show. Enrich your experience with a sweet surprise at each concert. Immerse yourself in this unprecedented blend of intimacy, music, and art at the centrally located Salon, just a 5-minute walk from the National Museum.

5.00It was a truly beautiful end to the day in Warsaw — in wonderful company, to the sound of Chopin's classical music. The musician proved to be an incredibly talented and subtle performer, able to convey every emotion through music. From the first notes, the space filled with a special magic. We were welcomed with warmth and care - treated to wine and cookies, and candles flickered gently around, creating a truly atmospheric and cozy evening. It wasn't just a concert, it was a whole sensual experience that lingers in the memory. 100% recommend anyone who wants to musically enrich themselves and give themselves a truly unforgettable experience.

5.00A truly beautiful evening with Chopin’s music in Warsaw. The atmosphere was incredibly warm and intimate — a small salon thoughtfully arranged with tables, armchairs, and sofas, all softly illuminated by candlelight. It created a perfect setting for complete immersion in the music. The program was carefully curated, and the performance by Wojciech Świętoński was outstanding. His level of artistry is exceptionally high — he handled technically demanding pieces with both precision and deep sensitivity. The final piece, the famous Nocturne in E minor (Op. posth.), unpublished during Chopin’s lifetime, was performed so movingly that it brought tears to my eyes. The concert lasted about an hour and left a truly beautiful aftertaste of a perfectly spent evening. Chopin’s music feels like lace woven from notes!
