As the first place in Warsaw (in the city center right across from the National Museum) that started holding daily Chopin Concerts, we have organized more than 3600 concerts in the last decade. "Chopin Painted by Candlelights" concert series offers more than an opportunity to listen to live performance of Chopin in finest interpretation. It also is the chance to spend time with a glass of wine in a Chopin-Style-Salon where discussions on news, politics, and culture unfolded amidst music.
Additionally, each concert features either a show of specifically prepared photograghs of Polish landscape that was the inspiration to Chopin's music or a live painting show.

What To Expect
Chopin Salon
Enjoy a glass of wine in a pre-war Warsaw salon, directly opposite the National Museum, and embark on a magical adventure into the enchanting world of Chopin's music and art. Our “Chopin Painted by Candlelights” Concert Series are specifically created to intimately acquaint the listener with Chopin and the music of his heart. Each concert features the main pianist (sometimes accompanied by other musicians), and an artistic show of the famous portrait of Chopin lively painted on by the photographs of another famous Polish artist - Tomasz Sikora or a live painting show. Enrich your experience with a sweet surprise at each concert. Immerse yourself in this unprecedented blend of intimacy, music, and art at the centrally located Salon, just a 5-minute walk from the National Museum.

A lyrical introduction to Warsaw

5.00This concert was an unexpected delight at the Chopin Boutique Hotel. Wojciech Świętoński played beautifully, with interesting explanations between the pieces. The standard was far above anything you would expect from a hotel pianist. It felt as if the room just a flight of stairs up from the hotel reception had been turned into a top ranking concert hall with a free glass of wine included. I didnt take any pictures during the concert because I was so entranced. We stayed in the generously sized Paderewski suite named after the famous pianist and composer who became a spokesman for Polish independence. So all in all a very harmonious start to our short Polish trip.

5.00After this concert, as you stroll through the streets of Warsaw, Chopin seems to play softly in the back of your mind, turning your city walk into something almost magical. An atmosphere that draws you in; peaceful, enchanting, and staying with you long after the night is over. That night, Vinayak Chaturvedi brought Chopin’s compositions to life with remarkable sensitivity, filling the air with magic. Without a doubt, one of the finest experiences you can have in Warsaw.

4.00Authentic, intimate concert atmosphere, almost like in the living room. Somewhat annoying is the dominant place assignor. The pianist played nicely, but is definitely better than what he showed. Probably what is going on there is more of a mass business than suitable for subtle piano lovers.
