Departing from Red Hook, join us sailing to Christmas Cove, where we will visit the one and only floating pizza boat! Order a pizza, enjoy a swim and relax and watch the sunset as we sail!
Where to meet: We will meet at American Yacht Harbor in Red Hook at C dock right next to the Marina office.
What to Bring: Sunscreen (Non Spray), towels , GRATUITY: Your crew relies on and appreciates gratuities for a job well done. The industry standard is 15% - 20% of the cost of your charter.

What To Expect
Join us for a happy hour trip to Pizza Pi in Christmas Cove! We depart from the American Yacht Harbor in Red Hook, St. Thomas at 3:30 PM. Enjoy an easy sail to Christmas Cove where we will drop anchor in some of the clearest waters around. Enjoy a swim and order some pizza from the one and only floating pizza restaurant in the Virgin Islands! Pizza Pi’s Menu features some of the best pizza around. Ticket prices include drinks: soft drinks, bottled water, a fully stocked bar, beer, and of course, our Caribbean Rum Punch. We will pull the anchor and enjoy a beautiful sail back just as the sun begins to set. We will return to the dock by 6:30 PM

Pizza, Dancing, and Sea Turtles oh my!

5.00We had a great time on this cruise even though we don’t particularly love boats. We do however love snorkeling, sea turtles, pizza, and a dance party. We got to enjoy all those things (it really was good pizza even by my slightly-picky tri-state standards) while being entertained by John and Jaime. The snacks and commentary were great, and they got everyone up and dancing towards the end of the night. I got to see several sea turtles, stingrays, and a shipwreck at our second snorkel spot so that really made the cruise worth it for me. I searched for turtles at the beaches renown for them for almost the entire week prior with no luck, but the Ocean Surfari Pizza Pi cruise made it happen for us.

5.00Our family had originally planned a different excursion on our cruise stop in St. Thomas, but after stumbling upon Max Charters online, we decided to switch our plans to this. We have zero regrets!!! Our family included grandparents, Mom and Dad, our pre-teen son, and our seven-year-old son. Finding excursions that held everyone's interest or that everyone in our family could reasonably participate in was challenging. Casey and Captain Jeff knew how to cater to everyone. They were extremely likable, led great conversations, and were fantastic hosts. They not only got my youngest son (who is Deaf and has some developmental differences) to relax and be playful, but they also got my pre-teen son interested in sailing! Both of my boys loved the pizza from Pizza Pi. Mom, Dad, and the grandparents happily shared one large pizza, and the boys split another large. There was plenty for all of us. We expected leftovers from the boy's large pizza, but they fought over who got the last slice. It was delicious! Christmas Cove was great! We saw stingrays, starfish, and various fish along the coral rocks. We borrowed snorkel gear from the boat, and it all worked great. Captain Jeff taught my oldest son a little about sailing and gave him some hands-on experience that made my son's top moment on our cruise! Casey was very attentive to all of us. One second, she would make sure we all had a drink in our hand, and the next, she would be helping my youngest safely move around the boat. She also moved around taking pictures and sent me every photo she took. This allowed all of our family to relax and focus solely on enjoying the experience and time with one another. At the end of our family vacation, we each shared our favorite part of the vacation, which included one week at Disney and one week on a cruise ship. Our time with Max Charters made everyone's number one spot. Thank you so much, Captain Jeff and Casey, for an unforgettable experience!!!

5.00Captain Eric and First Mate Casey were excellent. Always checking to see if you need anything. Captain Eric took the dinghy over to get the pizza, which was delicious. We had the bonus of the Rock-a-Boat concert on the water. This is the 2nd time we have taken this sail tour and have loved it both times.

5.00We had an amazing time on our sailing trip. Casey and Aaron were fantastic and catered to us the entire time. This is by far one of my favorite things we did on our trip! We will definitely be back to sail with them!

5.00Fantastic time!! My 16 year old son and I happened upon Max Charters because what 16 year old boy died t like pizza? And we could snorkel and enjoy his first sailboat ride? Bingo!! It hit on all cylinders. Captain Aaron and first mate, Casey, were great. The snorkeling was the best we had I. The islands (no lie.. been here 4x)… now, no turtles BUT we saw a beautiful octopus, what seemed like 25+ starfish and a family of stingrays!! The sailboat itself is beautiful for those who love a sailboat and Capt Aaron put the sail up for the trip home. He also told us about the history of the cove and the dark history of the neighboring islands…. So enjoyable and I highly recommend.

5.00Absolutely incredible! Clapton Aaron and Casey were so kind and we had the BEST sunset sail. When on a trip to St. Thomas Max charters is the WAY TO GO! We don’t have enough good things to say about them. Their boat was beautiful, staff were incredible, and were so kind! It was the highlight of our trip to the Virgin Islands!
