With a Tour led my a trained actor/comedian.
We will meet at the Westgate; the medieval entrance to this historic town. Before seeing the Great Hall of Winchester Castle and hearing of the legend of King Arthur.
Then walk the High Street with its beautiful Christmas lights and tree. Hearing stories of Winchester and global Christmas traditions.
Soak up the atmosphere with an included glass of Mulled Wine (or Hot Drink).
We will conclude before the spectacular Winchester Cathedral and the world-renowned Winchester Christmas Market.

5.00We had a wonderful night time tour of Winchester with Gail. Somehow she managed to pack in lots of history and took us to all sorts of interesting hidden places we would have otherwise missed. We were just off the plane from New Zealand so it was wonderful to see all the Christmas lights and to soak up the atmosphere.

5.00We arranged two group 'Christmas Mulled Wine Walk' tours in Winchester, led by Brian and Gail. We all enjoyed the excellent entertaining commentary, the history, the Christmas lights and, of course, the Mulled Wine (or hot chocolate) along the way! It was a lovely way to get into the Christmas spirit. We can thoroughly recommend Walsh Tours having taken several other tours with Bryan, and we'll definitely be booking more.
A walk around the sights of Winchester including a whistle stop walk through the Christmas Market.

5.00Really glad that we did this Christmas Walk. The group size was small and perfect. Our guide was really informative and fun! The mulled wine/ hot chocolate, a lovely touch on a chilly evening. We learnt a lot about the history of Winchester. Throughly recommend this evening walk. 👍

5.00Really great way to spend an evening. So interesting and quite magical at Christmas. Guide was very knowlegeable, attentative and entertaining. I really recommend this experience. I was on my own but felt very much included.

5.00We had a great time on the tour. Bryan was very knowledgeable and very entertaining too. The tour was just the right length and the mulled wine was delicious 😋. These tours always remind me to look up when somewhere new as there’s so much history high on buildings. Would definitely recommend this tour.

5.00I had a great time and learned lots of interesting facts about Winchester, its people and pubs. Bryan, our guide, was very entertaining and kept us entertained and laughing, despite the rain. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

2.00Rushed - only 4 of us in the group - guide talked more about himself and connections with Ireland. Would have enjoyed more of an overview of Winchester. Mentioned leaving tips - unprofessional I’m afraid.
