This was an excellent tour of Winchester, our guide Brian was very knowledgeable and knew every historical fact about Winchester. I would highly recommend this tour. We have lived in Hampshire for 30 years and never done anything like this before but now we feel we know Winchester so much better. I think we are going to do the Southampton tour next.

We were gently and comprehensively immersed in the amazing diverse and proud role Winchester has played in the foundational history of the United Kingdom and its subtle bragging rights of literary influence across the World - our guide and now great friend Bryan was simply astonishing in his breadth and depth of knowledge and ability to creatively educate us about the riches on our doorstep. OMG… book his superb experience. Thank you so much Bryan!!!!

Lovely day in the beautiful city of Winchester. With the snow is a backdrop and a wonderful tour guide. Brian was wonderful and so informative so helpful and didn’t rush. He is also a dog lover and it really was so enjoyable to spend a couple of hours with him going through the history of the city.

Good tour, very enthusiastic and informative guide, but rather too long for my tastes. It would be better if cut back to 90 minutes or so.

Bryan from Walsh Tours was an excellent guide. Thoroughly informative, humorous and genuinely pleasant. Whilst the English winter weather was less than pleasant, Bryan was able to make the afternoon pass quickly with a constant flow of interesting and intriguing facts about Winchester’s past and the intersections between its Roman, Anglo-Saxon, and Norman histories.
