Faced with heavy rain and grey skies the prospect of walking around Winchester on a Sunday morning did not thrill but so glad we didn't cancel. Brian was extremely informative and conveyed his stories with enthusiasm and humour which made the time pass quickly. We had visited Winchester before but learnt so much and saw areas that we didn't know about. A memorable experience

One of the best historical walking tours we've taken lately. Well paced, really fascinating with just enough information to give us a great overview of Winchester's history and help us decide what to do with the rest of our weekend!

  • Absolutely essential tour to fully appreciate Winchester!

Bryan was an excellent tour guide showing us a Winchester that we would have never ever have discovered on our own. Not only did he take us through the fascinating history of Winchester, but he also weaved his presentation of places and buildings tothe larger history of the UK, deftly summarizing key aspects from Roman times to present day. Bryan's his experience as an actor and comedian made the tour even more enjoyable and lively. Like a deft comedian, he gets to know his audience and tailors his material to your personal interests and demographic. We were truly amazed how much we learned and how many places we visited on this excellent tour that was very reasonably priced. Highly recommended!
