This walk connects Vienna’s Old Town with selected Christmas markets to create a clear overall picture of the city in Advent.
Not just markets, but the context in which they stand.
In three hours a structured overview is created : historical locations, central development lines and the role of Advent in today's Vienna.
The route runs through the old town and connects it to five hand-picked Christmas markets.
It is not just about atmosphere, but about classification : how does Advent fit into the city, how is it lived and how did it develop.
The tour is deliberately quiet and clearly structured.
It is aimed at guests who want to understand Vienna even in winter, not just experience it.
After this walk, the city can be better classified in Advent and explored further.

I booked this guide as I new I would be arriving early in the day before meeting my travel group. I wanted to take full advantage of the extra time to see the Christmas markets that Vienna Austria had to offer. When I arrived Moritz was my guide and informed me I was the only one who signed up so it was going to be a private tour. We had so much fun! We went to so many Christmas markets and walked around for three hours. It would have been four but I could not do the extra hour as I had no slept in 24 hours. But considering I did well holding on that long. We stopped at each and Moritz was so inviting and excited to tell me everything about his city and the sites. We covered a lot of ground with food, history, sites all over the city within walking distance. I cannot thank him enough for the patience, being so attentive and making me love his city as much as he does! I highly recommend this tour and this guide for Vienna, Austria Christmas market experience and with a ton of history thrown in. Exceptional!

Just arrived in the city and this was the perfect way to begin. Walked through all the markets whilst learning about the history of the country. We saw churchs/ museums / statues which allowed us to get a complete overview of the city and to decide what to go back and see. A wonderful informative guide who was happy to accommodate any particular interests or wishes. Cannot recommend highly enough!! 10/10 !!
