Excellent suggestion for those who only have a few days in the city and want to make the most of Lençóis Maranhenses. Because you know lagoons and dunes, and also Atins beach.

Departure from Barreirinhas in a 4×4 vehicle. The trail takes an average of 1h30. Visiting Atins beach and viewing the meeting of the RioPreguiças with the Atlantic Ocean.

In addition to visiting the best lagoons in Atins, with stops for swimming and rest. Upon return, we continued to the restaurant. After lunch (not included), rest in hammocks and free time to enjoy the region.

What To Expect

Atins

Departure from Barreirinhas in a 4×4 vehicle that will take us to one of the ferries to cross the river Preguiças that gives access to the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park (PNLM). The hard trail route around 1:30 am, we'll pass by Atins beach and see where the Preguiças River meets the Atlantic Ocean. We then drive 15 minutes to Canto do Atins, the starting point for our 15-minute walk (approximately) to Lagoa da Tempo, stop for a bath and rest. At the return we continue to the Restaurant (Optional: Sra. Luzia or Sr. Antônio). After lunch (not included) rest in hammocks and free time to enjoy the region. Arrival in the city at 5 pm.

Very good circuit with lagoons and sea! Lunch at a local restaurant is delicious. I just think that the guides, although helpful, could interact more with the tourists and even give some small explanations. We also found the time in Atins very little. We spent more time, almost 1 hour on a beach without any structure before lunch and when we finally arrived at Atins, we stayed just over half an hour. Not even time to walk and get to know the village. Still, the tour as a whole is worth it

Lençóis Maranhenses one of the most beautiful places I have ever been in my life. And the company Jurema provided us with a quiet ride with quality care with all its staff. From the beginning gave us attention almost 24h because at any time that asked a question Natalia responded to us quickly. Natalia, also helped us put together a perfect script for our 4 days. And every member of the team made our day very special. I just have to thank all vcs. Natália, Junior, Gabriel, Mailson, Radinho, Lucio, Baleia, Francisco e Pedro Henrique. We will be back soon and will definitely indicate other people. Thank you very much.

Excellent! Driver Rodrigo is a distinguished professional! We liked Atins and beautiful lagoon! I recommend for two circuits.
The tour is very good the guides are many careful who transit in the dunes and the lagoons are beautiful

An unforgettable walk. Landscapes with indescribable beauties, delicious lagoons for bathing, river, beach, beautiful vegetation and a gastronomy of saliva (we lunch at Mr. Antonio, which I highly recommend). It is a pity that it has become a place of great economic overfilling, being the most expensive city of Lençóis, to stay and eat.

We made 3 tours with Jurema tourism and were all excellent, from contact via whatsapp taking questions and giving tips, to the boys who accompanied us on the tours, all polite, attentive and passing security. We enjoy a lot without worry!

Excellent tour from Barreirinhas at a very good price. We went as a gardener and passed a piece of sandy road and entered the dunes, with bathing stops in lakes. Then we head to the corner beach of Atins (Desert) with a spectacular view, ending the tour in the Villa de Atins. Lunch and time to enjoy the landscape and bath. On the return, we arrived at 16:30 h in Barreirinhas. I highly recommend the tour!!!
