5.00We went on an excursion with Rigo and his team back in 2023 and when we were coming back to the D.R. I knew he was the one to contact. We had the best time! We toured the city, rolled cigars in town, went to the Rum Factory and tasted some excellent rum! We took pictures at the the beach, learned a lot about the area and Rigo even surprised our friend for his birthday! They are wonderful. Highly Recommend!

Three days prior to our arrival, he followed up to reconfirm all the details and provided clear instructions on where to meet, which made everything smooth and stress-free. The tour itself was fantastic—exactly what we wanted. We enjoyed a quick but informative tour of the city, followed by relaxing time at Playa Dorada. The beach was beautiful, and the experience included beach chairs, which made it even more enjoyable. Our beach attendant was outstanding, and the food was absolutely delicious. Our driver was professional, knowledgeable, and ensured we had all the information we needed for a great experience. We were visiting on the MSC World America and had more than enough time to return to the ship comfortably while still fully enjoying the tour. Highly recommend!

5.00Great experience with Rigo! My family had an absolute blast on the City and Country Puerto Plata History and Beach tour. Rigo was incredibly knowledgeable and seemed to know just about everything about the city—from the culture and history to agriculture in the region and even where to find the best local deals. One thing that really stood out was how great his English was—honestly, it was probably better than mine—so communication was an absolute breeze the entire time. It made the tour very easy to follow and enjoyable. One of the highlights was visiting the rum factory, which was awesome. We also had the chance to smoke a few cigars and really enjoy the local vibe. It felt like we got a much deeper look at Puerto Plata than we would have on a typical tour. Rigo made the whole experience fun, informative, and relaxed. I would absolutely book with him again the next time I’m in the Dominican Republic. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

With family members between 25 and 84 years old, everyone was able to enjoy the excursion at their own pace. We were so happy to have a private tour guide of the countryside and city!
