5.00Maracas beach was amazing with the vibrancy of the local cuisine on full display at the various food vendors located right along the beach. Marcus arrived promptly at the agreed upon time to whisk me away to relaxation while listening to waves lapping the shoreline. While on our way, we stopped at the most gorgeous overlook of a bay that had several concessionaires selling their various wares and delicacies. Marcus suggested the pickled pine (pineapple) that was eaten later that evening and was full of flavor, worth flying back for another baggie of it. Due to the impending inclement weather, we were unable to proceed to the waterfall but due to Marcus’ thorough knowledge of the area, he took me to an alternate private beach where we were only 2, of 6 people around to enjoy the peace and serenity that Trinidad features if you choose to slow down and listen. It was literal peace listening to the waves splashing into the sand and the wind sweeping through the swaying palm trees. We reclined the seats in the exceptional comfort of the tour van and just existed in tranquility. Whilst on our way back to the Airbnb, we again stopped at Maracas beach and feasted on a bake, which can be best described by this picky eater as freshly rolled dough stuffed with a potato-like mash, then quickly fried, before adding the freshest lettuce/tomatoes/onions and scrumptious sauces before obliterating it. It was heavenly. We made the best of this day by going with the flow of the weather which can change rather quickly.

5.00Tebet Tours recommended that we join them on a Carnival Sunday beach trip before we hit the road Carnival Monday and Tuesday. This was one of the best suggestions of the entire trip. It was perfect rest and relaxation we needed. Of all the benefits you get from working with Tebet Tours their knowledge of what’s best to do and when is hands down the best!

5.00It was a great experience from start to finish. Marcus and his staff made us feel safe, comfortable, and well taken care of the entire time. The whole beach experience was truly a vibe. Marcus provided beach chairs, a tent, water, and the delicious famous bake and shark. Everything was seamless and enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone looking for a relaxing and well‑organized beach day. Michelle

5.00We wrapped this into another tour they do and it was lovely! Uncle Sam’s Bake & Shark didnt disappoint. Driver Jason was kind, fun and a pro there and back! Owner Marcus met us at the beach too, twas a vibe!
