Museum of Islamic Art
An imposing building set on an artificial island off Doha's Corniche. The museum is dedicated to reflecting the full vitality, complexity and diversity of the arts of the Islamic world. It is a world-class collecting institution, which preserves, studies and exhibits masterpieces spanning 3 continents and 13 centuries. The building itself was designed by world renowned architect I. M. Pei, designer of the Louvre Pyramid in Paris.

5.00My boyfriend and I had a log layover in Doha and booked thos excursion. Iw was seriously an adventure. We spend the day in the desert, rode camels and sandboarded. The excitement was actually the drive through the desert. I was literally screaming. The vehicles are seriously taking you for the ride of your life. One the day ended we did our city tour with Rehan! He was such a pleasure to explore with. He tood us all over the city, to the sites to the market and even the hospital for the Falcons. He took us to a local historic mosque and even to the crystal walk area of the city. He was a please to tour with. I would highly recommend thos tour, but give yourself some time because you're going to need time to fully appreciate this beautiful city.

5.00Tariq was an awesome guide! We got picked up in the morning right from our hotel. He took us to some cool sights in the city and it was our first time in Doha so we had no expectations going in. He always offered to snap photos of us and gave us good insight on what we were looking at. Then the fun part came with the desert. My favorite was the dune bashing. He really sent it and what a rush! The whole car was filming and laughing! Sandboarding was great too and found some starfish on the shore. Great day spent, would suggest it to anyone visiting Qatar!
