Starting from bab albahrain enjoy a dazzling experience shopping, bab albahrain is a historical building located in the Customs Square in the central business district of Manama. It marks the main entrance to the Manama Souq.

Bab el-Bahrain Souk

Bab Al Bahrain is located at the entrance to the Manama Suq in Bahrain’s capital city Manama. Built in 1949 by shaikh Salman Bin Ahmed Al Fateh, it once housed the government’s administrative offices and overlooked the sea. Behind Bab Al Bahrain is the old Manama Suq. The suq is a vibrant collection of shops offering a wide range of goods from textiles, spices, incense, perfumes, handicrafts and souvenirs, as well as more modern products from all over the world. There are also a number of traditional coffee shops. The suq offers a unique shopping experience that brings to mind the style of commerce from days long past. The Manama Suq is a must visit while in Bahrain that visitors will be sure to enjoy.

We had an amazing day with our outstanding guide, Sharif, who taught us all about Bahrain on our half day tour. We went to some interesting sites around the city, and he paid attention to what we wanted to get out of our tour, which was really appreciated. The mosque visit was super educational and enjoyable, and we loved trying various foods at the markets. He even made sure we got the local specialty for lunch before the end of our tour. We highly recommend this tour as a great way to see the highlights of Manama and the surrounding area.

We had a brilliant trip with our guide and driver Sharif. We visited the camel farm, the souk, the fort, Sharif made the trip very interesting & was very helpful and knowledgeable. If you decide to go on the trip I would definitely ask for Khalid Sharif.

Sharif is the best tour guide, he is affable, friendly and helpful, he takes his time to know his tourists and makes sure we get the best experience possible, nothing is rushed, if more time is wanted at the Camel farm he will factor that in, he explains the facts and his knowledge is exemplary , sharif will include snacks and drinks, what a lovely touch. I totally recommend, if you need a guide there is only one person you need to consider and that is MR SHARIF

We had a very good guide who showed us the highlights in a clear way, and was attentive and kind. We enjoyed also the selection of places, specially the riffa fort and the camel farm. We loved the camel farm!

Our driver was great. I took off one star as the camel farm part of the tour was closed, according to the guards it has been closed for a long time due to COVID. We were really looking forward to that part, Viator needs to check their itineraries to make sure open air venues are not closed.
