Fort jesus is an historical fortress built by Portuguese on 15 century to guard and protect the indian ocean trade together with the old port of Mombasa. Here you will get to learn about the history and culture of the swahili civilisation as well as influences left by the traders who came from different parts of the world on the coastvof Kenya.

Great Experience Ghalib is euper knowledgeable about Mombasa and Kenyan history. He took us to a half day tour on the city and he was super attentive, we felt great in his company and learnt loads about Swahili history and culture. 100% recommended. Thanks Ghalib
