What To Expect
Preseren Square
We begin in Preseren Square, the beating heart of the city. We learn basic history of Ljubljana before we explore the different sights that are located at the square.
France Preseren statue
We learn about France Preseren, a truly colorful figure whose poetry inspired the nation during the Romantic days of the 19th Century. Find out why he was no Romeo and why we consider him to be our national poet.

5.00This tour was excellent! Tina, our guide was extremely knowledgeable and a great communicator. In the 2 hours we had, we feel like we saw the Old Town and learnt many things we didn’t know before we started. We thoroughly recommend this tour and this company.

5.00I went on this tour with Tina, and she was LOVELY! She had such a kind demeanor, and you could tell how much she loves Ljubljana and how excited she was to share it with us. She had such interesting fun facts, personal anecdotes, and was really approachable when I asked her questions throughout the tour. The walking tour itself was excellent; I feel like I saw every big site besides the castle and left with a great orientation of the city and its history. I got great recommendations for things I could do, food to try, and places to shop. We even got to sample a blueberry liquor at a store that we then got a coupon for! Thank you so much to Tina for such a lovely tour, and I hope I'll be back in Ljubljana soon :)

Tina was so knowledgeable and warm, and even in just 90 minutes, she provided such a strong sense of the history, culture, and character of this special city. Our teenagers loved it as well. 5.00We love to do a walking tour to get our bearings and to get a grasp on soon after arriving to a new city. This tour checked all the boxes. Our guide, Ingrid, was very knowledgable and passionate. She did a great job navigating our group, ensuring all in attendance could hear her and answered everyone’s questions. I would definitely recommend this tour.

5.00Took the free classic tour in mid-May. Domen (Domin?) was our guide and was fantastic. Delivery of information was comprehensive and entertaining. Pace was comfortable and length of the tour was just right. Wonderful overview of Ljubljana’s core.
It was beautiful, enriching, exciting, fun, and definitely very memorable.
