5.00We had a tour group by bus. From the beginning: the enthusiasm and joy of our guide Peter knew no bounds. We had many tour guides on our bus, but we never had such a competent and fun tour guide. The explanations about the individual objects was more than excellent. Should we come back to Vienna or the surrounding area, no other tour guide is possible for us than Peter Scheiber! We were a group of 18 Spaniards, made up of family and friends, from 10 to 56 years old, and our guide Peter adapted perfectly to the interests and needs of the whole group, from the youngest to the least young, making us spend two unforgettable and very fun days. 5.00If city tours usually shuttle somewhere between yawns and "Where's the nearest cafe?" then a tour with Peter Schreiber from wienguide.net is the complete opposite – an experience you won't forget! There were four of us on the road and had the pleasure of having Peter at our side as our personal "Vienna insider" on two days. On the very first day, he showed us, walking through the city centre, that there is a story behind every facade, every cobblestone and every coffee house – not just any, but one that you would like to tell right away. With a keen eye for detail, a fine sense of dramaturgy and a sense of humor that swings somewhere between ignominy and genius, Peter brought Vienna to life for us. And then came the second day: The Central Cemetery – for many a place of rest, for us a place full of laughter, wonder and goose bumps. Peter knows how to balance between awe and exhilaration like no other. Who knew that a walk among the graves of Beethoven, Falco and Co. could be so entertaining, educational and heartwarming? His anecdotes are a colorful mix of Viennese spoof, historical knowledge and loving humanity. You just notice: This man loves what he does – and that immediately carries over. Conclusion: Peter Schreiber is not a city guide – he is a stage star with a city map.
