Join us on this 5-day self-guided adventure and explore one of the world’s most iconic trekking destinations — Torres del Paine National Park. Travel from Puerto Natales to the park, where your unforgettable journey begins after completing the necessary registration at the entrance.
Throughout the trek, you’ll have the chance to choose between staying in cozy mountain lodges (refugios) or camping under the Patagonian sky, depending on your preferred experience.
Hike through breathtaking landscapes, from the dramatic granite peaks of Base Torres to the stunning views of the French Valley and the mighty Grey Glacier. On the final day, walk past the shimmering waters of Lake Pehoé before returning to Puerto Natales.
This self-guided program offers the perfect balance of freedom and organization, allowing you to explore the W Circuit at your own pace while enjoying pre-arranged accommodations, meals, and logistics.

We recommend you to bring: road map (that will be given at the entrance of the park), thermic water bottle (minimum 1 liter), first-aid kit, torch, compass o GPS, Anti-UV sunglasses, trekking shoes, impermeable clothes, solar cream, cargo trousers, tent and sleeping bag, windbreaker, hat, thick socks, gloves, polar sweaters.

Arrival at 09:45 in Laguna Amarga Entrance, where you will fill a form, pay the entrance ticket to the park and watch a short video regarding the park regulations. Shuttle to the Welcome Center Estancia Cerro Paine. Short walk to Refugio Torre Central for checking-in and leaving the luggage at custody before hiking to Base Torres.Hiking to Base Torres (Distance: 11 km – 7 miles / Time: 7-9 hrs. approx. /Difficulty: high)Dinner at the cafeteria. 5.00Excellent trip. We were on a tour run by W-Circuit. Bus driver was speedy but safe and we did two tours with the same company two days apart. We were picked up at 6:30 am and the bus was comfortable. Trekking poles were provided which helped a lot (we had never used before). The first trip we went on 3 roughly 2 hour hikes to the cave paintings, the waterfalls near Las Cuernas, and the Mirador Condor. We hike a lot and enjoyed these. Great start to our stay in Puerta Natales. These hikes were moderate but challenging in terms of vertical gain and strong winds (at one point we were bent over nearly double at the Condor hike!). Our guide Alex was knowledgeable and funny and very good pointing out plants and animals. A herd of guanacos came out right by us and we all got stellar pics. Beautiful intro to the park which truly has stunning scenery at every turn. After that we did the Base Torres Hike but with a different guide named Pablo. Great hike but long (6 hours minimum) and very crowded at times. The hard thing is that people hike at vastly different rates. Our guide had us go ahead and wait in places (great system). We saw tons of birds and even a puma at the end! Again, breathtaking scenery and rewarding. Some people may not be prepared for the steepness of this hike and be unable to finish as were several folks on our tour. Acclimate a bit, have good boots, and be used to hiking—this is 22km (13.7miles) RT!

5.00The W Trek was absolutely stunning. It was over 60 miles of hiking in 5 days but well worth it. Vértice took care of booking all of the accommodations, meals, and transportation. They were organized and had everything ready for us when we arrived in Puerto Natales. Due to busy season and the refugios being full, we had to tent camp. Vértice partially refunded our trip because of this and ensured we had a tent, mats, and sleeping bags at each camp. Overall it was a great trip and we are grateful for the experience.
