Byzantium, Constantinople, Istanbul: no other city in the world has known so much glory under three different names. Three civilizations, three empires, three great religions. The district of SULTANAHMET looks like a living museum.

Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque
Saint Sophia "Haghia Sophia" in Greek means "divine wisdom", is an extraordinary architectural achievement from the 6th century. Built by Anthémios de Tralles and Isodore de Millet, it was inaugurated by Justinien and his wife Théodora (537). This Byzantine masterpiece has splendid mosaics with a gold background and colored marbles. Justinian for the construction of the dome had ordered from Rhodes bricks of earth so light that twelve of them weighed no more than an ordinary brick, they bore the following inscription: "It is God who founded, God will help him. " The Ottomans had transformed it into a mosque, then in 1935 it became a museum.
Blue Mosque
The Blue Mosque (1609-1616) is one of the most famous mosques in the world with six minarets, it owes its name to the ceramic tiles (around 20,000) from Iznik (Nicea) predominantly blue which line its interior walls. .

Our extended weekend in Istambul would have been so poor without the company of this Mustapha guide. Mustapha is passionate and makes visits very interesting and very pleasant. Mustapha after suggesting tours that we could have arranged as we liked, accompanied us for two days and introduced us to the usual cultural places and also incredible places that would have been inaccessible to us without his company. Many thanks because without you Mustapha we would have missed so much culturally, intellectually and tastefully. Nice meeting I highly recommend

Back from SRI LANKA and MALDIVES we stopped for 3 nights and 2 days in Istamboul. We were 4 and we spent these 2 days on the old town with Mustapha. Its strengths: punctuality, availability, listening to its customers, adapting to the pace of customers, speaking perfect French and very in-depth knowledge of the history and culture of its country. Besides, in the big bazaar, he avoided tourist routes to take us to the "local part" and show us "real life". If you can, for the cruise on the Bosphorus I recommend the option "private boat" which in addition to the longer duration (+/- 1 hour) also allows to take full advantage of the knowledge of Mustapha. This guide has passionate us to the point that we will go again to Istamboul and certainly then to Cappadocia and we will use his services at that time. I recommend you 200%!!!

Thank you to this dear Mustapha, very pleasant and speaking impeccable French who knew how to fascinate our group of teenagers by captivating them with his stories. Mustapha also accompanied us in the choice of our visits and activities. Do it again!

Exciting visit to the must-sees of Istanbul with Mustafa! He kept our 5 children and ourselves in suspense with his vivid, enthusiastic stories and great culture. He shared a lot about Turkey, the whole family loved it! We totally recommend it.

We had visited Saint Sophie with Mustafa in 2021. For our last trip to Turkey, we called on Mustafa, who organized us a memorable stay in Cappadocia.

We met Mustafa for a trip to Cappadocia, he had been recommended to us by friends, and it was a great trip. Tailor-made trip between culture and landscape discovery. Everything was perfect, choice of hotel and restaurants, only good addresses. Mustafa made us discover this country he loves, he is a man passionate about his job. Also we asked him to visit Istanbul. As he was not available, he recommended his colleague Müjde, with whom we spent an excellent day, visiting the "classics" of course, but Müjde also showed us his good addresses. We thank Mustafa for sending it to us.

We had a first day private tour with Mustafa in Istanbul. He made us discover the essentials. He adapted his explanations to our 10-year-old son. We learned a lot from him in a fun and enjoyable way. We liked Mustafa so much that we asked him if he could accompany us the next morning for the visit to the Grand Bazaar. It was a VIP visit. Lots of places, stories and encounters that are not accessible to the general public. And then? We asked him to continue for the rest of the day with us, which he kindly accepted. He brought us to a restaurant for lunch at an absolutely delicious place. Mustafa is sincerely, a good human. Un grand ❤️. I recommend him as a guide, eyes closed. Thank you very much Mustafa for making us discover Istanbul!

We spent two days with Mustafa (and his colleague Söner) as a family in Istanbul, discovering both the "must sees" (St. Sophia, Topkapi, Basilica Citern...) but also the insides of the Covered Bazaar, everything benefiting from the anecdotes and comments of our guides, as much appreciated by the children (who took the opportunity to improve their Turkish vocabulary) as by the parents, in a format where we were picked up from the hotel (which avoids making mistakes in the tram or the metro) and accompanied again in the evening. We also took the opportunity to discover Turkish breakfasts (ah, beaten butter...) and the doner kebab in the Bazaar, it was great. Special dedication to the one kilo gold ingot held in the Bazaar, we didn't leave with it! ;-)

2 excellent days, very rich and full of surprises. All the benefit of having a qualified and cultured guide, but also not more expensive than other proposals. We would have missed places, and people, without Mustafa. You absolutely have to go through it to see Istanbul.
